I would like to post my results and setup from an EA/TDesk setup kindly supplied to me by Taipan described here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 77#p168177 The setup in my opinion needs its own thread but its not mine exclusively so I will leave that to Taipan to decide. I intend to try and reduce the drawdown and see if I can improve the EA generally but the initial first weeks results amazed me.

Is it possible that in the TDesk.tpl is Superslope missing? I am asking kind to find out if I have made a mistake and some indies can get integrated in an another way but I am not aware of it yet. I have added SS to the template that I have the same TDesk screen now, but since I had to have to alter the setting, I am not 100% confident that the SS settings are right now, if not standard.

Further, on your screenshot is a smFisherTransform indie, but not in TDesk. Do I need it then?

To answer your question, Just use the c1borg's template. You don't need smFisherTransform indie on the chart and it is for visual check only. Myself dicarded SlopyBuffers and used the Baluda SuperSlope TD indi (Threshold set to 1) on the chart instead.
The chioce is yours.

Correct I am using Slopy Buffers and not Super Slope 2 different approaches to see which is best you take the choice

Hi @ all testers of the new setups.

Please make sure to have set [c]WriteFileForTestDatabase[/c] to true in Desky. Otherwise you won't be able to upload test results later at all.

Those of you publishing setups for others to test, please consider using "DESK" as [c]GroupNameForTestDatabase[/c] and a speaking string (max 5 characters) as [c]ExpertNameForTestDatabase[/c] in your Desky setfiles. For example "DESK" and "XST" will create a new DESK-XST expert section in FXTestify for xSuperTrend-based TDesk/Desky setups.

A small question with regard to xSuperTrendHistogram testing on FXTestify, do we need to give different user name of each individual demo accounts, e.g. taipan1, taipan2, taipan3 etc... to differentiate different accounts?

Do we need to register the xSuperTrend demo for testing like we did before as FXT-SPB-3? Which link to register if need to.

I couldn't get xSuperTrend histogram Tdesk.tpl working for some reason. I had to load Taipan's TDesk tpl and edit the difference. I already tried the basics, restart, delete cache.dat...what else can I try?

In the Desky template, the name of the TDesk Trading Partner ea need to be exactly the same as the TDesk Trading Partner ea. Use notepad to open up the template and find "expert" to locate the EA used. The name should be exactly the same in order for it to work. See attached to see what I mean. There is an extra "r" at the end of the name of the EA. Just delete the extra "r" and save the template. It should works.

I don't recommend doing so. Always use the same nick. You will get problems to log in otherwise.

I have these same problem. I deleted 'r' and dont work
