The infopage CSS D1 Slopes for EURAUD angles together, means EURAUD short.
The 10.4 System means Signal at H4 and H1 long.
Folks, what do you think?
for 10.6 it's ranging... i.e. price is between the 60 & 240ma on H4genaja » Thu Jan 30, 2014 7:36 pm wrote:Maybe a bad question. But....

so for me i'd avoid it, safer to stick to trending pairs
I think I have found the issue. CSS works on bars. I am in Sydney and GP servers are set to gmt. Gmt rolls over to the new day at 11am here, so if I look at CSS just after 11am it could point wildly incorrect on new daily bar formation.rocketman99 » Fri Jan 31, 2014 1:50 am wrote:I have just noticed something odd with my daily CSS on the main info page. The last CSS bar appears to be pointing in the wrong direction. If I look at the JPY line it angles strongly down (above zero line), but if I eyeball each JPY chart the JPY is strong. I see the same with GBP and CHF (have not checked all).
Can others confirm this or is there something seriously wrong with my CSS.
This is an easy one for me to answer. It goes in the bank. I found out it is easier to get to 100 pips by banking 3--33pip or 4--25pip winners than it is to try to hang onto a trade until it makes a 100 pips. That is what I mean by being a singles hitter.Adam63 » Thu Jan 30, 2014 12:59 pm wrote:Hi all,
Another one here trying to make my way with this method...
I'd like to ask others views on when they move their stops up to breakeven. I try to stick to the adage of "not letting a winner turn into a loser" and move my stop to b/e when the trade reaches around +50 pips, but a high proportion of my trades then retrace, stop me out before moving back in the original direction. For instance yesterday I was long GBP/AUD & EUR/AUD and short AUD/USD, all of which moved into positive territory by 50-80 pips before retracing, hitting my b/e stop, then continuing in the original direction. They're all looking good now but I didn't make a cent.
Do others find this an issue? Maybe it's a case of having to trust the trend and not moving the stop to b/e too soon, even if it means +70 pips becoming -80 before (hopefully) turning positive again.
Interested to hear how others go about it.
Thanks in advance.
Oh, so its not just me! Thank goodness even the pro's are strugling! I was steadily increasing all month up to 2.5%, then bang, lost > 1% on a big Euro move and might also break even or have a small loss for Jan.nanningbob » Fri Jan 31, 2014 5:54 am wrote:Just to let you know I am leaving Monday for Santa Clara (San Francisco area). My internet quit working at my house so I am not able to get on line there. I cant get it repaired because everything is closed here for the holidays. So I may or may not be able to make my CSS reads like usual. We will see. Anyway happy trading. Jan. has been one crazy month for me. I went 12% up to 2% down to 3% up to break even. Sheesh.
