For clean charts lovers. (Risk of too many lines after TMA arrival)
To be honest, the only thing I need from 240 and 60 LWMA when using TMA bands is to know the level where they are (just to be ready for the dummie lights changes) and a little slope to see towards where they are moving. So I have muted them letting only visible the ending point. Very useful also in lower timeframes as is a MTF moving average.

Alorente, if I undersand well, you trade like this ?:
For example: Buy in H4
- TMA H4 at the bottom of TMA D1
In preference: Market at the bottom of TMA H4
- Extreme TMA H4 > -0.20
- Extreme TMA D1 > -0.25
- TSI H4 up at -25
- STO7 Two pairs: H4 UP; D1 LOW
TP: Replace SL or opposite line
SL: Last lower
Reentrance: Centerline or Support channel
Thank you very well of sharing

H4 TMA at bottom of D1.
All Slopes no lower than -0.25 (This you can vary by ATR of the pairs). Very volatile, -0.30, Average Volatiolity, -0.25, Low Volatility, -0.20.
Enter with 10.6 signal. Not necessary to use the TSI.
The rest you have ok.

A question please, Al. How did you arrive at the 1.351 target? Is that simply the last peak low of the H4 band or did it have anything to do with the channel?alorente » Thu Mar 27, 2014 11:27 am wrote:EurUsd just broke the neckline of the Head and Shoulders formation. The implied target is 1.3510.

It's the standard target for a head and shoulders pattern Pedigree - distance from neckline to the top of the head -> same distance down.Pedigree » Thu Mar 27, 2014 9:04 pm wrote:A question please, Al. I'm also wondering if it's possible to project a target when a head and shoulders has not formed. Any thoughts?
There was another projection here without a head and shoulders:

I think that was a much more general projection - as in the previous high/top of where the H4 TMA band would be but maybe Al had other thoughts.Pedigree » Thu Mar 27, 2014 9:38 pm wrote:Ah right! You measure verticaly from the top of the Head to the neckline and then apply those pips from the break of the neckline vertically.Pedigree » Thu Mar 27, 2014 9:04 pm wrote:A question please, Al. A descending or ascending wedge, when broken returns to the beginning of the wedge formation. These are very powerful. They generally retrace 100% and they are very accurate. Over 90% accuracy. More than likely, gold will surpass the top of the wedge in this case because it is in a pretty good uptrend. Right now it has corrected 50% of the move up. This should be it, unless it decides to go to 61.8% retracement...Pedigree » Thu Mar 27, 2014 9:38 pm wrote:Ah right!
