I see moronic posts starting to appear here again by people too lazy and stupid to read the thread. I have dealt with them and will continue deal with them appropriately in future.

So, those of you whose posts have suddenly disappeared, I think you are an idiot and your continued membership here hangs by a thread. Your best interests are served by staying quiet, as advised in the Welcome message I sent you on joining, and which you were too thick to read.

Hmmmm. Something else people are wittering about here is the trending nature of the current market.

Remember those 1176 pips I made trading live? That built up over a period of a few weeks and that most people here ignore even though they are actual live trading results? Not demo. Actual cash.

They were taken from 132 trades. That is 8.98 pips per trade (sorry, used Calculator to do the arithmetic). Call it 9 pips per trade.

So, 9 pips per trade. Does this really sound like a trending market to you? Or a ranging market? Or any other kind of market you have heard about? How about a perpetually imploding market that automatically destroys all trades of any kind?

I leave it up to you guys to work our for yourselves why the trading system that I stumbled upon and describe in post 1 has done so well. When you have done so, you will have learned a bit about trading the train wreck of retail forex trading.

I completely agree Steve, your results trading just the majors have been awesome and I too have wondered about comments about the trending markets.
You're results in such difficult trading conditions as seen this year is nothing short of amazing,

My results (demo only) over 1 month has been something like +4000 odd pips.

This is one EA I would be wary of tinkering with too much!

Well done & thanks for sharing :!!:

Also, on my managed accounts: with EURUSD and AUDNZD moving nicely.. I am pushing 26% gain this month.. seeking 30% by the end of the month. It has been a great month.. excited.

Also.. I made this posting in my FX1DO forum, and wanted to make sure as many see this as possible. It is something I am following.. and doing very well with..

Wanted to give an alert on some FX commentary I picked up..

UBS has issued a downside target of 1.2050 on EURUSD, and they went short at 1.2751. There were about 2 Billion in options to be filled at 1.2750.. then the market fell after the options were filled. I am personally short from 1.2748 and position is doing nicely. My personal target has been 1.2450.. so they are giving me a few hundred more potential pips. Awesome.

Also.. UBS issued a long target on AUDNZD of 1.1500. I am personally long from 1.10946 and 1.11020. Market is trading at 1.1126 at this posting.. position is doing nicely..

On the EU, there were stops at 1.2700 level to a 22 month low,; next level of note is 1.2662 which is the Nov 12 low.

There is talk of a US Leveraged fund selling EUR with further stops below 1.2700.

Even countries are selling.. I have report on Italy selling 7 billion in 6 month T-Bill auction vs Exp. Eur 7Bln.

The ECB will continue to talk down the EURO and we are loving it..

There was an option expiry at today's (Friday - 9-26-14) 10:00 NY cut at 1.2695 (512 million) and 1.2750 (276 million).

There is large scale buying by Levereged funds of the USD's as they join the market through the US crossover.

So a lot is going on, just thought I would share this as we go into the weekend..

Cheers

Yes, normally it would. However.. the German economy is actually in bit better shape. This is giving a slightly more positive sentiment to a weak condition. There is not much econ news this next week so volatility should remain low. The exception is the final revisions of GDP on Tuesday.. but no surprises are expected. I am still looking for GBPUSD to follow the EURUSD downward, with a target of 1.5750 (This level will be hit) down to as low as 1.5335.

Now that the Scotland vote is past, GBP resumes it's normal activities and volatility.

So EURGBP should remain to be a good trade downward also.. Levels of interest for me: 0.7450, 0.7270 and 0.70015. Price will need to clear the current triple bottom monthly first.. so there is a probable intra-month (Oct) bounce in the cards first.. otherwise.. down we go to the targets.

Similar results here. (Demo only)
I started FB on 22 Sept with 0.01 lots
Initial balance $8,683 (old demo account)
Current balance $9,096
That's 4.7% for the week.
Using totally different MPTM settings. (You just love those Fibs - I'll have to seriously consider changing from the defaults :D )

The point is this thing seems to be working for everyone so the settings only serve to maximise the result (Hopefully!)

Go Rinnie!

Hey boldtrader, I would have thought your MPTM settings would be 55/13 with a trail of 34 to stay with your Fib Rules!
