Hi John, just loaded this EA, correct me if I'm wrong but...

Start trailing at 100 pips, trailing step 50.
Does this mean when price reaches +100 then the trail will move to +50 and then move in 1 pip increments as the trade moves further into profit?

What I do, is wait for price to reach +100, then move SL to BE +5, once price gets to +150, then I have a 50 pip jumping stop (not trailing). Meaning when price gets to +200, the SL jumps from +50 to +100.

If I've completely screwed up my interpretation of the Quick Trail EA, please feel free to correct me

Shelley, I downloaded the multi purpose trade manager from here awhile ago and the instructions indicate you should be able to use the jumping stop part of it the way you are managing your trades. I haven't tried to use this EA yet. Is it different to the one you have?

I only wish the EA had done the same thing but for some reason it didn't more bugs to hunt down, it closed OK but then didn't open a new trade with all the rules met, I can only think that when it checked for a new trade the old one was still open so did nothing and I was just thinking of using it live as well
Bad luck with that zader, I hope the EA took the other NZD trades?

Looks like there are no bugs to hunt after all with that audnzd trade, the EA works on the closed candle (X on the chart below) for confirmation and the rules state that the 3MA must be above the 8MA, well it wasn't by a whole 2.9 pips

I've just added a myfxbook widget to my signature for my 2nd MTF demo which is using 10% global closure if anyone is interested in those results

Shelley just a question please regarding your rules.
With CADJPY - trend up, pullback 2 red, 1 green, 1 red, 2 green but small doji style candles.
3 is above 8, all dots bullish.
How do you interpret that as there are the 2 bull candles after pullback though they are small? I notice you haven't taken an entry.
