I think I have configured it correctly.
There is also an option at take 1/2 profit at a certain pip value.

It will make sure we don't miss some pips on big, strong runs like we had on Monday.

Good to have that confirmed. Hopefully I'll get this all fixed clearly in my brain soon!!

This really is a different way of trading then most people are used to and can take time to develop confidence.

John, I'm sorry to be a bit thick on understanding also... but can you please tell me how to apply your EA with your settings? Dave told me to put the set file in presets which I did but I'm not sure what it does from there.
If I place the ea on my chart then I still have to change all the settings myself or is there someway the presets take over?

I'm sure John & Dave won't mind me jumping in here...

once you have dragged the EA onto your chart, go to the inputs tab and on the bottom right side click LOAD. This will open up your presets folder (this is where Dave told you to save it) and just select the preset you want, click open and you're done.

PS, Actually it would be the first entry after long signal on W1 and now all dots good on D1... so are we waiting for today to close and confirm those? I think that's where I may have got it wrong before also.

Yes I think it's also "the first entry after long signal on W1" - but I think you are supposed to wait until end of bar to confirm all the dots are good...

plus.. from what John said in earlier post, it's not a good signal on W1 as green is not on top. But I don't think that is strictly a rule in Shelley's system.

btw, Shelley - thanks for sharing system (& john for orig)... just started looking at it in detail today.. Just trying to figure out arrows/repaint/john's advice & looking at some bad setups and wondering how you'd exit?? etc.. You are getting great results & that's what matters.

I did try as Dave said and clicked load but I didn't click onto the actual file to open. I tried just clicking open but that didn't work! So easy when you know!
