My profiles keep on missing on several occassions on Empty4 build 670. Better back up and zip it to prevent this happening again. This happened only when you restart your Empty4 platform.

Closed all but one with FB.

A glance at the H4 charts lends perspective, as I just remarked to Tommaso in a pm. Those pairs that have shown blistering screams upwards, and vertiginous hurtles downwards on the M15 (and all in the wrong direction) are merely at the top/bottom of a range on the H4.

Or course, if all those pairs are about to break our of their range, then I am in trouble. We shall see.

Are you trading limited pairs?
The JPY is gaining strenght, and sell orders xxJPY are abundant.

This prompted me to make an update to post 1 that I have intended making for some time. Copied from post 1:

As traded last month on an M15 chart:
pairs: majors + GJ.

trades in the direction of Bob's H4 240 MA trend-detection function.

takes trades based on Fractals.

all trades opened by FB on all charts are regarded as being part of a basket of trades. The basket is closed by mptm at $6 profit per 0.01 lot size. 0.02 lost, profit target is $12. 0.03 lots, target is $18. Global Prime live trading account: 1 pip = 10 cents, so a 10 pip movement is $1.

What I like most of the system is that winners are being add-on while loosers most of the time stay single.
This way the winners will tip the scale in the end and close the basket at profit.
Really smart thinking, and good find to use the fractals this way.

actually i have a floating of -150€ with 0,02lot on a 1200€ account with the same pairs as stevehopwood, from now on i will manage the trades at the H4 chart, the pairs which i think have no chane of recovery i will close,
how is it going with the account which use it on H1? any reports from people who use it at H1?

All pairs, 20 open orders, -/- 240 pips floating. Max negative this basket -/-670 pips.

I bookmarked Shelly's Myfx; http://www.myfxbook.com/members/sallen/ ... 1h/1017907 to compare accounts.
Most of the trades are in sync, some start one hour earlier/ later due to different brokers I guess. Baskets started on different moments, so basket comparisation is not possible.

I have cash-TP $20,- with 0.01 lots for $1.000 balance.
When account reaches $2.000 I intent to double lots and cash-TP.
By using cash-TP, I include swap- and commisioncost in the profit.

Hi Steve, i agree with you.
Currently i have TP at $15 for .02 but now i'll move to $18 .03 lots to be more conservative.

the EA just closed all my gbp/jpy orders with a massive minus.
about 120€ isnt that a malfunction? The close was around the minimum distance to MA line.
