Shelly,

looking at the two acct. The draw down is stellar especially on the original exits. The beast is plaguing us now, but last time it was a different pair. I think that is something we have to get use to. There will be losers. Winners so far have way offset losers. Question is what can we learn from the loser? Is it an aberration or the beginning of a new trend as a whole. Right now we are US dollar strong. If that changes then so will the weekly arrows but how far behind. Is a hint in the bad trades. I don't know but is it is something to look at in history and see what arrows turn first and how many turn before the whole market turns. I will try and look at this over the week and see if I come up with something. Anyone else is welcome to join in my fishing expedition. I am obviously looking for the key to the closing the entry's that don't make the 100 pips before they wipe out the acct.. That to me is the only week spot in this system. If you do not think it is a good idea let me know so I don't waste my time.

Hi all, I'm home again. I'm wondering why I don't have the new trend arrow on my weekly chart if you got it on your's Shelley? There is a green Histo line but no green arrow. Anyone else experience that?

Which pair? The gbpcad & eurjpy new weekly arrows are red - I have those.

Sorry, rather tired and forgot to say which pair!! I was meaning the trend change on AUDCHF indicating to close the trade.

ah ok. Yes I have that arrow too, not sure why you wouldn't - unless it's broker time differences.. I'm using GP demo.

Couldn't sleep last night and made a manual back test over 2 years on EURUSD.

FYI, the result was +973 pips.
17 trades
biggest loss (and maximum drawdown) -399 pips
biggest win +550 pips

Gary,

The problem is that the arrows repaint so a back test is probably not that accurate. Maybe if you use the indicator that has been posted that does not repaint and do it then. Only 17 trades in two years is less than one a month does not seem like enough to me to make money but almost 1000 pips on one pair about 40 pips per month one need a lot of pairs but they are out there.
