I am ignoring posts about the bot not closing trades. It closes mine on the button. There is nothing I can do for people who are mucking things up for themselves.

Just to let you guys know where I am with demoing this.

I am finding that Monday and Friday trading is not a good idea, and so have stopped. This might just be a temporary thing, but there are lots of traders very wary of trading those days.

I am having OAD send the trades at 7.00 gmt, the London open time. Last week I had a basket tp of 75 combined pips; this was often hit within minutes of the trades being sent. One day, I thought there had been none until I noticed the screen display; the profit was hit almost as soon as the basket was sent.

I tried a combined tp of 100 pips this week and none of the baskets lasted out the first hour. I shall try 150 pips next week.

I'm also experimenting with a combined basket tp of 150 pips. But as you mentioned, monday doesn't seem to be a good day for trading OAD. The basket is moving between -100 and 0 pips since GMT 07:00. Another 50 minutes to go until the basket get's closed. Doesn't look like the tp will get hit today.

to the people commenting before about sporadic / incomplete trading i was having similar issues but then i hadn't updated to the latest version 1b, was running 1a without the latest fixes. have updated to the latest version as in post one and the bot has opened a full basket of trades like clockwork this morning - wanst trading monday on steves advice - and steamrollered towards a successful default tp might i add. thanks steve

to the people commenting before about sporadic / incomplete trading i was having similar issues but then i hadn't updated to the latest version 1b, was running 1a without the latest fixes. have updated to the latest version as in post one and the bot has opened a full basket of trades like clockwork this morning - wanst trading monday on steves advice - and steamrollered towards a successful default tp might i add. thanks steve

Well, I'm on 1b but OAD just opened 15 pairs (of a 28 pair basket). Donno how your OAD was able to open a full basket of trades and rolling towards the tp. My basket is rolling between -100 and 0 pips, like yesterday. Have to say that I switched Bobs 240 average to lwma instead of the default sma setting which comes ootb ... anyway, can't believe this could be the reason.

I started a demo last night, it executed its basket today at 7GMT, and i did notice that only 11 pairs opened up for trade.
the basket closed after 80 minutes at a profit, so it did what it needed to do.

maybe Empty4 cant handle 23 orders instantly...

as for the powers of crapquotes over brokers ( having worked high up for a broker for 3 years) i can tell you this. crapquotes acts worse than North Korea democracy
They don't even let the brokers know of updates coming, you come in the morning and oh hey an update, deal with it. Customer service is is useless, as they just say oh its the shitty EA programming, not the system.

all they really care about is the monthly server fee, which typically runs about 5k per server. be late with that and oh boy they will shut you off without a care to the wind.

ill have to double check how many trades were opened later, (currently at work and accessing intermittently using teamviwer - cant do it right now) by full basket i meant that figuratively- as in a proper number of trades have been launched , as with the older version at times there was only a single trade launched some days, if at all.

also Steve recommended not to trade mondays and fridays if you can avoid it with this bot.

my trade was executed on Tuesday... I followed all the suggestions, even set my basket time to 7GMT to match steve.
Maybe the reason it only opens one trade or two, is because that was all that matched the rules.
As someone who trades the manual version (10.7) I can tell you that some days your lucky to get more than 3 trades.
- the only concern than comes to mind is the fact that if we set the TP to 100 pips, and only 2 trades open, we sort of lose the quick to close basket situation... ( maybe that is not a real issue)
