Fractalated Bob

EA's inspired by nanningbob's work here, especially those based on his 240 Moving Average trend detection filter.

Instead choosing a % for closing, let it trail the maximum pips.
Steve, maybe you can insert this indi code inside the bot: as the stock PSAR suck (if you set your own setting preferences, Metacrap reset them to the default ones :arrrg: ), so i'm pleased with that custom one:
No.

Before everyone starts jumping to ask me what my secret sauce settings are for getting such a great return for my kamikaze account realize the account has only been running for one day. Also, FX book does not calculate drawdown properly for any account. My drawdown has been almost 27% so please notice that it's still risky and I'm still fine tuning it.

Also no special settings for my H1. Just 28 pairs. DD 10%.

I tried the M5 for a week or so a little while back - it went gang busters then busted the demo almost as quickly. I remember literally watching 3 basket closers within an hour but in the end I had a difficult basket that just kept getting added to that finally sank the ship. I suppose if one were to experiment with settings and limit trades etc a sweet-spot may be found but all in all I've personally found the H1 to be a lot smoother.

FracBob does it's magic alright!!!
Well I don't know what you are doing but I thought my settings were the same as yours and all I got was a loss for the week of 3.40% and the drawdown has been greater than 20%. Could you post up your FB .set file so I can check what I am doing wrong. Thanks.

Hi
Been testing the new FB over the weekend to optimize it for certain pairs and noticed that the Trend MA does not seem to work well with these settings .
Trading time frame 15 min
Stoch time frame 240
Trend MA 1440

It only wants to buy but will start buying and selling as it should if the Trend ma is set back to 240 .
Any thoughts or does it only work for the 240 time frame.? Thanks

Load up the moving average onto your chart as you wish FB to trade. Check that there really is something wrong. Make sure of your facts before reporting back again. Bear in mind that I do not take kindly to going off on a coding wild-goose-chase only to find that some dimwit had been idiotic with his charts.

In other words, prove there is something wrong of shut up. I am quite good at this coding lark these days but not omnipotent. I do make mistakes. Just don't assume there is one in the code; you will not enjoy the experience of being proven wrong.

Hey Steve,

would it be possible to change the way the trend is defined? From my observation on trading FB on M15, it would be great if the trend is determined by the direction of the H4 Stochastic instead of the H4 240 LWMA. Something like

if H4 Stochastic Main > H4 Stochastic Signal = Buy only
if H4 Stochastic Main < H4 Stochastic Signal = Sell only

I know it comes to Countertrend Trading in this constellation, but i think it could help keeping Drawdowns even lower than with the Stochastic Filter from last week.

I hope i wrote everything understandable, but english isn't my native language

Ok, i will try again. Here is a picture of the audusd.
Instead of using the MA240 as trend direction i want to use the stochastic as shown with arrows for trend.
If i am not wrong this way the sell position shouldn't have opened, but there should have been a few buy positions instead.
