Hey guys,

Like the OP, I too have been following the system on Babypips almost since its inception. I've been messing around trying to code my own version of the EA using some "EA builders" for free on the internet. I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread because it looks like it'll save me a lot of time many thanks! I agree that the back tests for this don't seem to be promising but if I might be so bold to suggest that this strategy could really use a trailing stop to accompany it. That way it can lock in the majority of your profits that you should catch in the trend. What do you guys think?

This are the parameters..

Thank you for the EA. I have great interest on the EA; I have taken a 1on1 session with the developer of the 3 Little Pigs System and even have the indicator (manual). I am trading the system on the live account and I give it thumbs up.

Are you not able to implement the rules as set out by the requestor, for example:

1) Stop Loss:
(a) For Uptrend: SL = 34 SMA - (MAX_VALUE(ATR) + (MIN_VALUE(ATR))/4
(b) For Downtrend: SL =34 SMA + (MAX_VALUE(ATR) + (MIN_VALUE(ATR))/4
2) Re-entry
(a) Uptrend: Re-enter trade when candle touches or dips below the 34 SMA and still closes above the 34 SMA regardless of whether SL was taken out or not (if multiple trade parameter set to 2 and above of cause)
(b) Downtrend: Re-enter trade when candle touches or ventures above the 34 SMA and closes below the 34 SMA regardless of whether SL was taken out or not (if multiple trade parameter set to 2 and above of cause)
3) Trade Management:
(a) SL trails the 34 SMA by the same distance
(b) TP: Trade is automatically exited when the trailing SL is taken out

Hi Tommaso,

Another nifty feature of the EA would be the auto lot size calculation based on the SL, account equity and percentage of the equity being risked.

maybe if I find some time I will take a look to this EA, as I remember it trades the rules requested,the lotsize thingy would be easy to change, but some adaptions for the new Empty4 6xx code and some fixes are needed.., here you can take a first look http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... m.php?f=50, every trader should in my opinion be able to code some basics as it is really usefull...
