Just closed my first 2% basket of this week, seems due to JPY strenght..

Try setting the trend MA to 0 then do a quick backtest to see if it works..

Me too 2nd basket total 3.38% this week! (probably because I am not using css would be 4% like gertje)

Gertje,

In the CSS settings, do you have CSS reverse closes trade set to true?

I am not having the same good results with this setting.
If I have that set to true, I have lot of negative trades closes with a loss. More than the winners.
If I only use the CSS filter set to true, then it looks like filtering some trades out, and do not have those negative losers closing.

I cannot see much difference in the results using the CSS filter to be honest.

Do you have a MyFXbook link to that account? I would like to see what pairs are you using and trades taken to compare with mine.
Set file if you can upload as well.

I am curious why you have those good results, on my accounts I had to disable that function because of the constant losses were eating up the balance.

Steve,

i got a question regarding the stochastic filter. Would it make sense if we would have separate values for StochBuyBelow and StochSellAbove for the stochastic moving with or against the trend?

For example:
MA Trend Down
Stochastic Moving Down = StochSellAbove 30
Stochastic Moving Up = StochSellAbove 70

MA Trend Up
Stochastic Moving Up = StochBuyBelow 70
Stochastic Moving Down = StochBuyBelow 30

Just an idea

Hi Frank,

You need to filter the trades from 29-09-2014 as before there was something else happening on this [live] account.

I'll upload a setfile later, I need to log-on to the trading machine to do so.
