Forcing build update

I seem to be stuck on build 711.

I saw the post in Steve's Secret Trendy Bob

Hi Steve,

I asked MetaQuotes again for a solution. They have send me the following answer.

1. You should open demo account on MetaQuotes-Demo server and log in.
2. Restart the terminal.
3. Wait until "LiveUpdate finished" record would appear in Journal tab.
4. Restart the terminal once again.
5. Check terminal's build.

I followed the procedure and now I have a Empty4 build 722 installation. I hope that this build is without bugs now and all Problems with the platform is solved.

And by the way - I am just a normal trader like everybody else. I got nothing to do with any broker. Just a friedn of mine is working for a Broker. Thats it.

I opened a new demo with CitiFX and it did indeed load 722, but my existing demos did not update. Is there some sort of secret handshake here? I opened and closed the fresh demo a couple of times. Closed all open demos, did a quick registry cleanup in case there was anything hiding there. No joy.

Or am I forced to recreate all those demos over from scratch?

Maybe you can save and export profile, template and such.

I guess so.

CrapperQuotes could hardly make their program more difficult to use. Every other program or app IN THE WORLD updates without muss or fuss.

Hehe. I started a new platform tonight - JerryBuild 711 turned up.

Look on the bright side. Maybe the Cretins at Crapperquotes were so ashamed of JerryBuild 722 that they removed it asap.

Yeah. Right. Of course they did.

Good grief. Predictably, 722 seems no better. What a joke. I could list the bugs, but what would be the point.

I read somewhere they changed the trade-closure script, requiring al EA's to be re-written....

Another update due tomorrow, fixes are listed at the bottom and it's adding more things that can and will go wrong

I am on multi broker account: fxcm, jfd brokers, armada markets, markets AND the same probel " common error" server (en français "erreur standard") since the auto live update buid 735 !!!

I shunted firewall, authorized the iternet connection, the 443 port ...nada, same problem every where.

Please help me.
