Trading H1 since last night all common pairs bar EURGBP/EURHF 0.01 lots/1000, max 2 trades, SL to zero (will change this at some point as a failsafe) .....and we finally have a losing trade - 53 trades 52 winners 1269 pips and 7% increase. Interestingly the major winners right now seem to be CT trades so when we start heading in the trending direction again????
Like Gertjan said - seems too good to be true which is always a red flag but at the moment I can't see the big flaw. I like the double and withdraw plan, always have, but never managed to achieve it with an EA.
:hi: to Steve and Bob.
Spot,
0.01/ 1000 should give 1% for 100pips, why 'only' 7%?

Blimey, the EA is broken!
I have a huge losing trade among the 21 winners; lost 1.9 pips on that one.....
22 trades, 440pips. Seems to stay on a averige 20 pips per trade.
I hope we can leave it as it is.
Too good to be true (usually is).
Slam $1.000 on a account, wait for 3 weeks to double, withdraw half and have a few hundred for beers every week....
Beers AND currys gertje! Actually I migth open an M240 and increase the TP to 150? Hmm
2 things;
- be carefull with H4, one bar can go a long way against you before the return signal.
- no TP, let the signal do the closing and don't limit yourself to a measly 150pips....
Thanks Gertje will bin the 4 hr then, see what the 15, 30 and 60 min demos do instead, thanks for the advice

Mmmmm. Good question - had to think bout that one for a while! It is because my base currency is GBP so it is a £10k demo account not a $10k USD account so I had 0.1 lot trades so 0.01 per £1000.
Just checked my losing trade - it was less than 0.1 pips

Cheers,

Thanks, makes sence.
Can one say then 7%x1.6=11.2% in USD?
