Bob, you mentioned in an earlier post not to try the CT trades in a strong trend. I've attached a GBPNZD 4-hour chart from early September which shows this exact issue, first giving only buy signals during a strong down trend, then only sell signals during a strong up trend (although technically the first two sell signals in the move up were below the 240 line).

If we use the initial CT signal as a take profit, could we then use SL the arrow sets for the CT trade as a valid re-entry point to continue trading with the trend? Or would you always switch to a lower time frame instead to look for a re-entry point? I'm thinking specifically of cases like this in which the trend is too strong to generate a new sell signal on the down trend or a new buy signal on the up trend. For example, the second CT signal on the move down on September 5th had a value of 1.9651 on my chart. If I set a pending trade to sell below 1.9651 in that case, it would have scooped up a bunch of extra pips without my having to switch to a lower time frame and be around to wait for a signal.

That is not a strong trend. This dipped below the 240 line for a week or two and then it moved above the 240 line. So that is just normal up and down movement.

Here is the eur/usd DT that ran for over 3 months so far. This is a strong DT.

Page 1 Post 1 has V.8 Following changes were made:

1. Both indis were combined into one with T/F for trend or CT trades
2. Email alerts were added
3. Phone alerts were added
4. T/F was added to turn alerts off.

ShowCounterTrend = true; //Turn to False if you only want trend trades
SendAlerts = true; // Sends noise alerts
PopAlerts = true;// Sends screen alerts
PushAlerts = true;// Sends alerts to phone
EmailAlerts = true;//Sends alerts by email

Also we put a time stamp into the code. The indi will quit on Jan.1 2015. I am attempting to protect this indi from pirates who would sell the idea. There are 4 people who have the ability to go into the indi and change the date so it is not exclusive to me. Maybe at some point it wont matter but right now I wish to protect the idea. I hope you understand that I wish to keep the indi free to anyone that wants to use it but they must come here for their updates.

Could I put in one more request regarding the last update?: Is it possible to specify the "to use" Alert Wav file name in the indi?

So it could be changed easy to a nice "Bird.wav" or so, instead of only one standard alert wav for all alerts from the used CrapMT platform. Wouldn't it be nice to have different alert sounds for all the different signals (T_Buy or CT_Buy etc. )!

You can change the sounds in Empty4. Go to tools, options, events, make sure box is checked go to alerts and double click on the sound wave. You then can choose any sound wave in your computer. I once had it play the Beach Boy song Good Vibrations but I got sick of the song.

As far as multiple sounds ,hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
