Secret Bob's Basket

EA's inspired by nanningbob's work here, especially those based on his 240 Moving Average trend detection filter.

Steve,

Congratulations on the birth of your grandson!

Here is a little 'present' in code:

Code: Select all

      if ( currChart == ChartID() )
      {
         prevChart = currChart;
         continue;
      }
Put this somewhere in your loop in CloseUnwantedCharts() and SBB will not close its own chart.

Cheers,

Paul

Thanks Paul. Much appreciated.

I have added this to the code folks, and it will be in the next update.

Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

I have attached another example.

TradeTheCounterTrend=true
PairsToTrade=AUDUSD,EURJPY,EURUSD,GBPJPY,GBPUSD,USDCAD,USDCHF
MaxTradesPerPair=2
AtrMinimumForTrading=0
MaPeriod=0
UseZeljko=false
OnlyTradeCurrencyTwice=false

The EA was trading as expect when the price was below the MA but then failed to close the two current sell orders on the last TREND buy signal. Note I turned the 240MA filter off by setting MaPeriod = 0.

It maybe the TREND BUY signal is not working

Cheers Rap
Nice ones Rap.

Ok guys. It is gone midnight here in the UK and it has been an emotional day. Never mind why; I will post about that later in the week. Just assume I have imbibed for happy reasons and so do not have full control of my faculties.

Hell. Why not. Chris and I became grandparents today. Jack. 7 pounds 11 ounces. :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!:

So, would someone a tad more sober than me please check line 1827?
if (!CloseEnough(CTBuySignal, EMPTY_VALUE))

I am reasonably sure that this should be checking for a main (i.e. trend) trade signal but don't really care right at this moment. Please post a correction.

This is the closest you guys will get to intelligence from me tonight.

Hic.
