It's almost the close of trading and I have profit locked in on the following trades:

USDJPY +300
CADJPY +200
EURUSD be+5
GBPJPY be+5 (after being around 1000 pips in the red a couple of weeks ago)
AUDNZD be+5
GBPUSD be+5

EURAUD was closed at the start of the week at -230 and then annoyingly I forgot to mark my chart with the new line and missed the sell trade on Thursday that would have been at BE+5 now as well :arrrg:
Got the change of trend signal on Monday so closed the NZDJPY sell trade for -360 pips and also had a EURJPY sell that I closed for -462 pips and took the new buy trades on both pairs.

Massive green pips thanks to the JPY pairs over the last 24 hours with a high floating pip balance of +1772 pips, currently floating at +1400 pips which has more than made up for the losses incurred when I closed those 2 trades.

Closed balance is currently $6566.83 floating balance is $7563

I have profit locked on the following pairs:
AUDNZD be+5
CADJPY +300
EURJPY +50
EURUSD +100
GBPJPY +300
GBPNZD +50
GBPUSD be+5
NZDUSD be+5
USDCHF be+5
USDJPY +500

Shelly,

How is the ea going? Very nice to see the turnaround. Equity is higher now than the previous high. This is very good. Patience is the key and money management. Keep up the good work.

Gosh Shelley! Fantastic! :cheer:
Like I said I missed the exit and entry of a couple of JPY pairs and there's been no retraces since even though you would think there has to be soon. I know I couldn't handle the DD on a live account and I need to follow less pairs. I love the method and the way you manage this but have to find a compromise to suit what I can handle.

Michael, thanks for your reply. I don't want to interfere with Shelley's thread but do want to know more of how you get on and how you manage your style of this method. It sounds just like what I'm trying to do. Either PM me or start another thread as Shelley suggested. That would be super! :)

Intcust... not ready to give it away entirely just yet!!

Cheers,
Cherry

I would be glad to to PM you , but I don't know how to from here...

In order to keep with the threads style, I have revised my indicators to be the ones the author uses..
Except for my long/short position indicator that shows my current position, pips, and SL.
I have setup the SL/TP according to the thread (BE+5 at 100pips, then 50pip jumping stop)

I am also running another platform with the same system, except I do discretionary SL and TP.

That will be an interesting comparison for you Michael. It is the stops and targets (preliminary at least) for this method that I'm interested in, being far more used to trading in this manner. Working out best entries so a stop can be placed and where, is what I'm trying to work out at present.

You are doing so well Shelley. :cheer:

Can anyone shed some light on the difference between 2 charts I have.. both the same timeframe broker exactly. Which is correct?!
AUDCHF on Global Prime showing a new long signal and on Axi still has the sell. This is on both the crossover arrow and the histo as you can see:
GP AUDCHF 17.11.JPG
Axi AUDCHF 17.11.JPG
Thanks.. Cherry

Cherry, AUDChf has not gone in a clear direction since end of September. What you're seeing is some repainting of the SMMA Crossover indicator.

Look at my weekly chart attached. I have marked every new trend signal with a line as they have appeared. I have changed the solid line to a broken line whenever the signal has disappeared.

Thanks for your reply Shelley, I understand what you mean about the direction of this pair. That thick blue line on my chart is actually the 20 ma which price has been playing on for the past few weeks.
What i don't understand is how two charts can be different at the same time of day even when reapplying the crossover and histo.. which doesn't repaint but is also different?! It seemed just a bit weird but I have since noticed there is 10p difference in the close price on Friday with GP being 10p higher than Axi so this could account for it and gives GP the long signal!

Different brokers have different feeds causing the indicators to all read slightly differently. It is highly unlikely you will get the same results for different brokers
