gertje can you tell us what lotsizes relative to size of account / riskpercent you are using, so we can scale to our demos. many thanks for posting these

0.01 lot for every $1.000 balance.
Risk% has no meaning without setting a SL.
If I would use risk% (you get different lotsizes between pairs then), I would use 1% for every 100 pips SL.
So if SL=200, I would set the risk at 2%, effectively getting to appr. 0.01 for every $1.000 balance again.

just was thinking about your no-closure demo: ' [M30, trendtrades, no-TP, OOTB jumpstop, intend to close Friday 20h00]'.
Tomorrow NFP so maybe a better idea to close it before the news instead of Friday 20h00.
Interesting to see what will happen with the baskets during NFP, but on demo we can't take this serious.

I will keep it running, even over the weekend.
Just curious what NFP will do to it, it might even clear some DD on hedged pairs if the swings are big enough.
The results are insane, banked 7.000 pips today, with DD to match.
Doubled the account in 4 day's, which I don't need live. 1/5th of these results would be perfect.....
Max DD has been 40%, running 0.01/$1.000 so if I go 0.01/$5.000 it might work. Time will tell.

I run the 2% version also on a small live account, had 7 baskets closed in 3 days with a max DD of 1600 pips.
For sure I can live with that,10+% weekly goes a long way towards a nice future.....

Hi Team

My two SSB demos (15m & 1H) have both hit the wall in Thursday trading. Reporting this to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Both demos closed baskets with DD's of 1,000 pips or so. This is unexplained as I am using Gertje's non closure set file and I have checked everything several times.

Following this event both demos are opening trades and closing them again after 2-5 seconds.

Over the last four hours or so the both demos have stopped trading all together. I can see no reason and have smiley faces staring at me with displays ticking over normally.

I am sorry I can't find anything to explain this with lots of checking. Up until the above happenings SSB was roaring back from DD's some big and had closed a total of 7x 200 pip baskets across the two demos since Monday.

I can post trade log or set if it is helpful in anyway.

Great suggestion pacinvest! An option to close trend trade on cross of 240ma would be very beneficial.

Holy Batman restarted both my demos with Gertje set file for non-closure and both demos are closing every trade after a couple of seconds. No clue as to why this is happening. Anyone else seeing this?

I have totally the same problem. After very nice run. ( and gain). My demo start close new open trades after 2 second. The ea after open trade modifine TP and SL on same level like open price. This is what I see in expert window. I don't know if the Empty4 are update or not. I run on VPS and I look on it with my phone because im at work. When I will be at home I look closer.

Renexxxx did so when I set demo up and have looked back at price data and don't see anything standing out as a problem and EA was working fine till thursday and last week as well.
