Really? How do you know? What patterns have you tested? For how long? With what results?
A reversal has to have a reason; we sell - they buy etc.
Since I understood it's not about indicators but where volume is.

I am not. I am privy to how it works and can see exactly how it works. I am reasonably sure I discussed this in post 1, although I will check.
In your example there are some seriuos drawdowns.

I did a few tests on live accounts also, sofar not bad at all.

Only an idiot uses something on a live account before testing it extensively on demo first.
So I am an idiot? Thank you, maybe I am an idiot, but be glad someone test it with his own money (only 0.01 lots) and share here, demo's often do not show the real trading arena.

Nope. Looks like something for me to look into. Using this filter with a multi-pair ea is new, so probably something lost in the translation from single to multi.

Been trading trend trades only with a basket close and 200sl setting all week on M15 and H1 and have had three basket closures on each over 1000 pips positive on both. Thursday night following a basket closure they both started opening trades and closing them immediately and continued to do so. I hadn't touched the settings.

This morning I decided to try a all in set trading trend and Ct (a ranging Friday idea) with close on opposite signal, set sl to 70 as backup. Both demos are now closing trades immediately consistently. I am at bit of loss to explain this, sorry.

Up until Thursday night SSB worked perfectly, amazing how it claws back in to profit virtually daily.
Ideas to get around immediate closure problem please??

I've been seeing the same behaviour and it seemed to start at 00:00 Friday local time. I've posted a log and set file here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 0a#p103931 but really have no idea why it's happening. Been running v1h and v1i without issue earlier in the week.

I noticed the same thing happening on the single Secret Bob EA and that is why I stopped testing it.
I had tremendous results with that one but it started doing that and kept opening and closing trades so I stopped testing it for the time being. But Steve said he will not do any more development on that one, so we have to wait and see what is the reason for this one on the basket EA. I am curious to find out the cause.

I did not have this on the basket version so far. I am also still using the 1h version. If you had that issue popped up on the new 1k, then I wait with the upgrade and keep using the 1h.
I am sure Steve will look into this sooner or later.

Otherwise I am running The basket version on my LIVE account for 3 weeks now and it is chugging along nicely and making pips every day. Only use it on 1H and 4H TF's on the same account but from 2 different Empty4 installation. I log into the same LIVE account from both.
Taking trend and Ct trades but no closures on reverse. BE at 30 pips and locking 20 pips profit.
TP 40 pips and SL 500. No issues what so ever with this one. DD is very manageable on the higher TF's. I use 0.01 lots per each 2K capital to be safe. GEC at every $20 profit.

No, it was happening last Friday on v1g as well. I started using v1h from Monday and moved to v1i since Thursday. Have just rolled back to v1h and it does the same thing

I did not have it because I don't trade the NZD pairs.
AUDNZD included. It would be beneficial to check which pairs are involved actually.
But as I mentioned It happened on the single SB EA for me many times.
Randomly, not at a set time or at a turn of a candle.
I also used to get a message the EA disabled on a particular pair due to a rogue trade.
Mostly happened to me on the AUS pairs.

Do you use a set Stop loss?
Also do you have it set to Every tick mode = true ?

Still I do not have it on my setup on version 1h.
