By the by guys, I haven't forgotten about the multiple opening thingy - just had my mind on other stuff today.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the Holy Grail Long/Short Pending Scripts.
Tried it on a demo account and found some issues sending trades ( Off Quotes)
Looked through the code and found that this line is missing in the OnStart() routine

  dPriceFloor = priceFloor(Bid, 10);
   dPriceCeiling = priceCeiling(Bid, 10);
   PriceFloor100 = priceFloor(Bid, 100);
   PriceCeiling100 = priceCeiling(Bid, 100);

   factor = PFactor(Symbol() );
   TakeProfit = TakeProfitPips; // Missing TakeProfit

I wanted to ask the same question, but didn't dare...
I've updated this bot three times now; the first time I closed all the trades myself, just to be safe.
The second time, I left them to see how it would go. (the trades resumed; but I couldn't tell you whether the bot closed 'em or the hard stops did).
This morning I updated again and all the trades closed by themselves when the new bot came on.

You would think I know the answer by now, but I still don't

Yes but no TP and SL and will rely first on opp signal to close. Since this is demo it wouldn't hurt to test first without a tp or sl

In Steve's code (and practically all EAs) the Magic Number is used to characterize a trade (and in the case of HGB also the Comment field is used to characterize 'Trend', 'Range' and 'Rad' trades). These open trades (that live at the terminal server) carry these pieces of information with them. By default in HGB the Magic Number is zero (which is the same for trades that are placed manually).

So, as long as you do not modify the Magic Number and Comment (which are parameters in the EA), HGB will seemlessly pick-up the open trades and manage them for you.
