I have uploaded a new version of the HGIMatrix where you can switch Alerts on for each new incoming signal. Be prepared to be annoyed :!:

Sounds like fun! Does it handle the "removed" signals?

That was not part of the user specifications and didn't make it into the design. Sorry!

Someone PM some questions and I thought I would answer them here.

Could I seek your advice on trading HGI?

I have a day job that prevents me from actively monitoring the market. By the time I get home, it will be 2-3 hours before the start of US session. So I have less opportunity to catch the big arrow when it happens. You mentioned you check the market before and after work, and during break time. For those short moments, do you enter a trade based on RAD and wavy lines?
Yes, what I am really doing is trading wavy line to wavy line. When I am in between those two I just go into the direction the last wavy lines tell me and stop when the opposite range arrow or new set of wavy line hits. Right now I am experimenting with just multiple trades all the way down the screen and dropping the trades when I get a range arrow or wavy line come up. Then i wait for the new direction.

Or you will do no trade if there is no big arrow?

I am always trading. It is seldom I am totally out of the market because the CSS always shows someone is trending strong and someone is trending weak.

You also mentioned that HGI works in smaller TF too. Do I need to adjust the MA in smaller TF so as to retain the monthly and weekly trend? For example, if i switch to 15M chart, then the monthly trend becomes 3840MA and weekly trend becomes 960MA. Or I can simply use the 240/60 when switching to smaller TF and use the previous H4 trend as a guiding principle?

No I dont trade lower TF and havent tried it yet. Al his showing me his lower set up and he is not changing the formula. When you trade lower TF you are also trading lower higher TF. In an earlier post I explained that a 15M trader really wants the 1H or/and 4H trend directions so keeping the 60/240 MA will give you those trend directions. For example the 240 on the 15M chart is the 60MA on the 1H and the 60MA on the 15M chart is the 15MA on the 1H. Put the 15/60 on the 1H and then you can see what you would be trading on the 15M chart.

You shared about low leverage. My current IG broker is 1:50. To reduce leverage, do I reduce my lot size or I need to change broker with a lower leverage?

You change the leverage lower if you wish but 50:1 on major and 25:1 on others is what the rules are in the USA and that is what I use. What leverage means is the amount of money you are putting up versus the brokers money. So 25:1 is you put up 1 dollar and the broker puts up 25 dollars. The higher the leverage the more you are borrowing and the higher the cost of renting the brokers money. You pay interest on that money you are borrowing. Not so important if you are in and out but very important when you hold trades for weeks or months at a time. Also lower leverage gives you a more accurate reading of how much money you have left to play with in your account and lets you know if you are over trading. High leverage doesnt give you that warning until it is way too late. So I stay with the 25/50:1 leverage ratios.

ONE LAST PARTY IN LONDON
TUESDAY 9th of DECEMBER.

HI

BOB will be arriving in London around 17:30 on Tuesday 9th of December and he will be departing for Heathrow around 10:30 the following morning. I guess by the time he gets out of Luton airport and arrives in Central London it would be around 20:00. He has expressed a desire to meet traders for 2 to 3 hours (bear in mind they will be tired due to the journey and they have to endure another 3 hour flight the following day). I was thinking of meeting in a PUB. Now the location and the possibility of this meeting would very much depend on how many people express a desire to come to this gathering. I was thinking more in terms of West London (i.e. anywhere between Kensington and Richmond/Twikenham area). If you wish to come please send me a pm and give me an indication of your preferred location.

Send the PM to Astral77

:hi: naningbob,
Is it possible to have the wavy lines two different colours. (red wavy ) means sell and (blue wavy means buy).
Thanks you. :good:

Hi fxguru,

Sorry, this is not possible, they are not designed to show buy/sell.

Cheers,
:D
