True, coz most brokers will move you from B-book to A-book (where slippage, requotes, etc are REAL)

What are current best options for US traders to be able to trade Empty4 with microlots? I haven't traded live in a couple years. Used to have FXDD Malta account, that got absorbed into FXCM, so I can trade with them, but I don't think they have microlots. Would like real user recommendations if anybody's got 'em.

Hey FF,

I think Bob now trades with CitiBank now: http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... hp?p=99177

Only other broker I know of that will accept you guys and worth looking at is FinFx (does not adhere to US restrictions)

AxiTrader USA might also be worth a look... [ donno if anyone here is with them ]

I can't start with 10k account, so hoping to find reasonable criminal that allows smaller accounts. Anyone using FinFX for US clients?

They explained that the STP brokers were the ones that got hurt - the dealing desk brokers did the best. Gave some links so you could see which brokers would be best to trade with and explained why and also which brokers would forgive negative balances. Lots of stuff about FXCM too...
They said if your account was less than 3k stay with a spot broker - if acct is 3-15k use more than 1 broker - if acct is more than 15k it would be best to use a broker that traded multiple contracts besides spot - like IB, Think or Swim, etc. - and trade futures - and more detail on trading futures I didn't know... o-yea - avoid Saxo and be careful with Citi because they are a white label for Saxo....
Really good basic info - and not really a sales pitch like it could have been...
