Getting several "OP_xx order send failed with error (4051): invalid function parameter value" errors.

I received the above message also.
Went back into the expert inputs and changed "RadInstantMarketTrade" to True.
Then reload the inputs on your charts. That fixed it.

Steve is aware of the 'error (4051)'. He has suggested we all stop testing the EA until he has updated it. See HGB tread

correct, i dont think thats the strategy with rad, to take instant market trades

Hi Guys,

I know this section is for HGB questions. However as there is no HGI basic question section I hope I won't get lined up and shot for asking an HGI question here.

We all know that HGI does not repaint. The arrows and waves move around because the market condition that caused the original arrow or wavy have changed direction.

What I do to try and get around the changing market conditions and to get the latest HGI read on the market is to simply reapply my HGI template and then make my trade based on the latest arrow etc keeping the current market trend in mind. I trade the 1H chart and the results of this method are pretty good but often I wait a candle of two just to confirm that the arrow or wavy is going to stick as occasionally big arrows change to small arrows and sometimes disappear all together because the market has changed direction.

Am I doing it right or have I missed the bus?

Hi Mark,

If the results suit you, you're doing it right....

Instead of re-applying the template you could easily switch timeframes and back, that way the values are re-calculated.

Waiting a candle or two, I don't know.
I use the EA, which jumps on each signal and am getting good results as well.

Hi guys just reporting back, version 1q, trade alerts saying trades have triggered but trades not being taken, i assume when that alert pops up trade should be taken

Not necessarily. The alerts are generated by the indi. Whether HGB takes the trade depends on your HGB settings.
