From my observations it would be highly inaccurate because the TMA will not run /give false readings in backtester... and I promise I will say no more about backtesting except as tommaso has said... it is shite!

Okay I will add something else because it can serve a purpose and that is to test the trading logic, e.g. does the EA take a trade if X arrow or wavy shows up? Other than that, FORGET it and move on!

And as I said, it cannot work regardless of Visual testing of an indicator or EA testing for profitability... If you look at how TMA works, you will see why!

HMMMMMMMM Al and I were talking about that last night. How the Spaniards make a roast called suckling pig and how my dad made one by putting the pig in the ground over coals. You would let it cook underground for 24 hours and dig it up the next day all ready to go. Interesting discussion.

To those that like trading lower TF we do have Slow Keys thread with the Gann Ribbons. Also Al uses it on the 5M chart using his Extreme TMA. You can find that at FF. He likes trading Extreme TMA between the wavy lines of the 4H chart and using the 5M or 15M charts. He has quite the setup in his private trading room.

If you ever want to meet one of the most generous and kind men of the world you should meet Al. We went golfing on a side of a mountain yesterday. One of the most beautiful places to golf I have ever seen. It is a devil of a course because of the mountain slope. The green can look level but it isnt. They all slope even though it is very hard to see. A devil of a course. I got really frustrated with it but by the back nine I started to get it. Well not really but I tried.

Yes but naked trading is something every trader should learn whether you use it or not. It really helps you see the market move. I get a lot from just looking at an empty screen. Then overlay HGI and it becomes your teacher and guide. I see some of you are trying to figure the whole thing out. Even if you guess which things we are using you still have to get the numbers right. If you dont get the numbers or formula right, even if you have the right indis we have used, it wont look right. So good luck, but I certainly would love the challenge of figuring it out.

It is like buying one of those market indis for 39.99 and then I figure out what they did. Then I scream you bunch of whackos that wont work in blankety blank market, or crap I already know that one. This one is different in that it is really good in both ranging and trending markets. It can handle both. But sudden news stories or a fundamental change of currency direction, no indi can handle that. So that is its weakness. Its other weakness can be around the decision points. Price can and does hover around those points at times and send a bevy of signals. So there you have it. Other than that, when the market is moving up and down, it is going to be pretty darn accurate.

So those of you who are trying to find its weaknesses, there they are, I have told you that these things can happen and they do happen. Dont be so stupid that when they happen you come to the stupid conclusion that this indi is a fraud. Its the real thing. Just take your losses when they happen and move on. You will never be a good trader until you accept that fact of trading.

YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE LOSING TRADES. TAKE YOUR LOSS OR MULTI LEVEL TRADE AND MOVE ON.

Buy for a short move (counter trend h4) or I would wait for the short up move to run out and wait for a sell signal on the H1 for a longer term trade. Or don't pull any trigger until you have your rules figured out.

I'm using this with supply and demand to enter. At a minimum, HGI keeps me from taking my signature bad trades which is half of my battle. Still playing with this but so far it leans me in the right direction.
