HGI for beginners.

Thanks to Steve, I recently discovered HGI and it is fascinating but I'm trying to understand why the various arrows appear, so can someone please point me to where I can find the latest version of the TMA Slope indicator that HGI reads for us? I'm finding many different TMA slope indicators, some are normal and some are true, whatever that means. Which one did Bob finally decide to use? Also is there a pdf manual that explains all we need to know about the TMA Slope. Thanks.

Look inside the HGI Basics zip file and you will find the TMA Slope PDF.

Thanks, I got the TMA Slope PDF and I also got 10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA.mq4. Is that the latest version? The PDF explains that true TMA is better. Does 10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA use true TMA, otherwise where can I get the best latest version that HGI is based upon? Thanks.

I want to manual trade HGI but use HGB to manage the different trades including the pending trades

I thought i had to enter in the comment box before i put trade on what type of trade it was so HGB new what SL/TP to apply

but i have tried doing that several times and it puts the trade on then deletes it straight away
I'm not sure if it because of the comment because if i leave comment box blank it puts the trade on but then HGB does not manage the trade as i assume it does not know what type it is

I did not see anything for it not to except the trade wavy lines etc so not sure if i have the wrong comment box but where else is there one
I thought the comment needs to be when i put trade on

And here is where the original question comes in....do we stop here at 2.00 with the two trades or do we set another buy at 2.00 and a tp at 2.300 following all theway to three?

And I guess while I am at it where do you set a stop on a rad arrow and do we use stops ever with the 20 pip stackig method?

I am guessing by now you probably want me to "stop" with the questions....

I, too, have been struggling with this, to me, new concept of multi-level trading- mostly with the question of the stops. I believe I've seen both the MA and the arrows referenced as possible stop levels - for purposes of illustration lets call the distance 150 pips. So I open my 1st buy trade at 1.600 as in Chris' example- tp @ 1.900 and my sl @1.585, + set my first pending at 1.8 with it's sl @ 1.785. When this pending trade gets opened, the market has moved 20 pips, I set my sl on the first trade to BE at 1.600 giving it only 20 pips of wiggle room? Repeat on the next pending entry at the next 20 pip swing to 2.0 with its sl @ 1.985 and adjust 2nd trades stop to BE @ 1.800 for same 20 pips of wiggle room - 1st trade has presumably closed at it's 30 pip profit @ 1.900 before this 2nd pending got opened.

Is this correct? the 20 pips of 'room' seems very small. The 10 pip 'overlap' between the series of trades is all it takes to account for the multiplier effect on profits? Please set me straight on this- will be very grateful. Thanks.

If the trade is deleted, it's against a ( now hidden) signal. Check the EA feedback on the screen which signals are taken in consideration.

Thx for the reply it seens from your answer i had the correct comment box to enter type of trade it was the trade being deleted that was making me not sure

As to the trades being deleted i guess HGB has seen the signal which was no longer there but i did not so in futere when it happens again i will know what is going on

try the attached one , it is a TmaTrue version (so not repainting) of the original. It should be the latest one..
