NB,
quick question - would you to so kind to consider to share a stripped-down indicator that only does the wavy lines (based on TMA slope, I guess)? Would there be a way to limit the graphical output to only show the last two (or max three) signals, as past signals are no longer relevant...
Thks for your consideration

this is only used if you want to call the indicator with iCustom from an EA or an other indicator, it makes this use easier..rivelrivella » Sun Dec 14, 2014 1:17 am wrote:what is isiCustom in 15.01 ? I'm fairly new to the world of forex but i've tried A LOT of different things. this just takes the guesswork out of everything.
so is there any development of an EA using this? what is isiCustom in 15.01? i couldn't find anything in this thread or the docs
THANKS AGAIN
Could anyone answer this question asked by Trendinator (or maybe put a link to).
I searched but no clear answer posted yet.
Cheers

Hi Bob !
I have not posted much but I have been following your teaching for years. I see that you plan on coming to Hugary in the near future. It would be a pleasure to meet you here in Hungary. I live in a beautiful city called Pécs. There is lots to see and great wines to taste.
Keep up what you've been doing so far.

Perhaps you could use a new indicator that reads the buffers of the HGI, and then only display Buffer 7 or 8?mobthehop » Sun Dec 14, 2014 3:54 am wrote:NB,

It seems a bit of a roundabout way of doing it though. Or perhaps use the TMA indicator directly to read the values from? I am not certain what indicator and what critical values were used for the Wavies.

WOW
Here are my results trading HGI using the HURST indy as a filter over the last 8 hrs or so.
I was anxious to get started, and put the HGI with HURST on a few 15 minute charts, and also a few hourly.
Live small practice acct. Results are impressive. Tried to trade as mechanically as possible, and found on the range signals, with proper entry seem to be worth 8- 10 P. Of course everything is rangy this am.
GJ 22 P
GU 25 P
GJ 8 P
EU 8 P
UJ 2 P
GJ 8 P
AU 10 P arrow entry
TOTE 80-85 pips
( I'm not really a pip counter so kinda ballparking this)
I passed on about 10 trades due HURST filter. This is about the easiest trading I have done in my lackluster experience. I plan to trade mostly the hourly and 4 hour.
I am not saying this is proof positive that this is not without hazards and pitfalls. But 7 straight wins with no losses on a monday morning is damned impressive for a method so mechanical.
Here are a couple live charts. . .

This is my last day in NYC. Having a good time with Shawn and his wife. We visited the Brooklyn Tabernacle and Oh my what music. Loved it. Today we go visit the World Trade Center. I am sure it will be an emotional time for us. It will be our first visit there.
Like Madrid NYC has its street performers. Really fun to watch the differences in the various acts. The street artists here are phenominal. We probably have purchased 6 or 7 pieces by now. The spray can painters were the most amazing. Unbelievable what they can do with spray paint, a scraper and crumpled paper. I see a stack of questions so wont get to them until Tuesday or Wednesday. Orlando here we come.

I have a suggestion:
It would be nice to have a horizontal white line crossing the candle at the actual price level when the symbol appeared (See picture below).
This would help in two ways:
1- If you spot a Trend arrow or wavy that is one or two candles old, you can still enter if the current price is below or equal (For a Buy), or above or equal (For a Sell), to the signal price.
2- For later analysis to better judge how profitable or not previous trades were.
