There was indeed a bug in the way the delay in calculation was handled, no errors, no division by zero, nothing telling that it bugged... Just no calculation made on some occasions.

I think I've tracked it down to the culprit : the way OnCalculate handles the rate_totals & prev_calculated. So before discarding calculation I make sure the prev_calculated is up to date with the rate_totals.

EA or Dashboard based on iCustom shouldn't be concerned as long as iCustom from me or Steve were used (they default the updatedelay to 0).

The 15.02 is in observation mode

I'll check coding again, can you confirm this is not hapenning with 14.xx, and, would you say this is hapenning for all signals or only for some of them ?

I have 14.01 feeding the Matrix because it is much, much faster updating than 15.01 and it does not happen. I will change a chart to 14.01 to confirm if that is happening or not. I´ll get back to you after some time.

please check if you have a warnig that the indicator is downloading history bars.. if yes this can take a moment..

No warnings are showing.

This may be due to the fact that I drag my pairs onto the chart from Market Watch in order to change pairs and keep less charts open. I am not sure of this though.

Al, I haven't read the rest of the posts following this one yet, so ignore me if I am late to the party.

Fact is, if you abuse an EA/Indi then it will not behave as you expect it to behave.

Try to break it often enough and hard enough and guess what will happen?

The guys here are providing some gold dust. Perhaps actually using it as they intended it to be used might help? Thee coders are not mind readers and so cannot be expected to anticipate every single attempt you might make to break their code.

Hi Steve. As you know, the only way to debug an EA/indi is to test and test and test and communicate to the coders what you find. Having said that, I have already told Milanese not to worry about it and leave it as is, but he and Elixe want it to be perfect and I agree with them.

We thank Elixe and milanese for their fantastic effort in making HGI what it is. A jewel... Squashed bugs aside, you are going to love the white line on entry feature. After using it for a couple of days I must say I am surprised. I really thought the Trend arrow entered at a worse price on the H4 bar than it actually does. It is amazing to see how consistent it is at entering quickly on the bar.

UPDATE 15.03 Page 1 post 1

HGI 15.03 update 12.17.2014 the following corrections and additions were made:
As suggested by Alfredo, it adds to the big trend arrows a signal line (white) where the signal was given in the arrow. It also should resolve some issues with the "missing arrows" on first initalize on a new TF. The iCustom calls are not touched by the update.

Elixe or Milanese can help explain what else may have been changed. I hope to go out and buy my new computer today and a new mattress. Home sweet Home.

As the iCustom calls are not touched by the update, it would make sense for the iCustom-'users' of this indicator to take the smallest version (in bytes) wouldn't it? As 15.03 is now 69.7kb and 14.02 is just 39.7kb, wouldn't the derived EAs and indicators not be better of with the older version? Or am I missing something?

In fact, may be the creators of HGI can create a 'lean-and-mean-iCustom-only' version of the indicator?

Actually 15.01 paralizes the Matrix to the point where it is unworkable. I use 14.02 for the Matrix and it updates instantly.
