CC-Diff code check - help needed

hi coders,

for weeks, I have noticed the cluster indicator CC-Diff.ex4 only seems to exhibit extreme JPY strength and weakness. I could attribute this to JPY gaining momentum but when USD was gaining strength/weakness, the histogram did not move to extreme reading and this got me worried.
Greatly appreciate if someone can help check the code and see if there was any incorrect coding on the other currencies especially USD.
I do not know if this is an impossible task, since I do not have the mq4 file (tried to decompile ex4 file but without success, some message about it being protected/broken).

I have added CC.mq4 for reference check.

can someone please decompile this if you have no time to review the code? I really think there is a code glitch somewhere but I can't check without the mql4 file. USD extreme weakness has gone up in past hours today and the cc-diff histogram is still showing no extreme strength/weakness...

I tried decompiling it bit the file resisted decompiling.

Rj, most custom indi's are crap. Those that are not crap are utter crap, save for those coded by two exceptions to this rule.

These days, when someone sends me a custom indi to include an EA, I ask myself 2 questions:

• 1) Did sqalou code it?
  2) Did TIG code it?

If the answer to both questions is 'No', then I allow 5 minutes to see if anything useful can be extracted from it. Usually it cannot, and so I abandon the indi poste haste.

Custom indi's released by any other than the above-named, only ever consist of calls to the usual indi's shipped with Empty4 and can always be circumvented, with calls to the rubbish custom indi replaced by calls to the standard indi.

So, work out what the crap CC custom indi is telling you, subtract the pretty-coloured but irrelevant bits that attracted you in the first place, and you will have the original indi. Your really, really don't need the extra pretty-coloured stuff.

thank you very much for taking your precious time to help me out on this and for your invaluable advice.
I was hoping to reduce cycling through several currency pairs to check for CC signals. The histogram provides an overall picture of the strength and weakness of currencies and helps to zoom in on best possibility pairs for trade opportunities.
A noob question - who is TIG? I have seen your messages mentioned TIG but I am not familiar with this name, is he known by another nickname here in this forum?

thanks for providing the CCFp v2.0.mql4 file. In fact, the CC-diff v2.0.ex4 was based on the file structure of CCFp v2.0.mql4. I tried to recombine CCFp v2.0.mql4 and CC.mql4 but because I am no coder, I got stuck. I still believe there is some glitch somewhere in the CC-Diff v2.0 code.

Gaheitman, i.e. George. George is a stunning coder who has helped me hugely. TIG - The Incredible George.

Sadly, TIG has hurt his back (rather badly I surmise) and is not contributing much at the mo. We all hope he recovers quickly.
