Hi Dudest.

How do you keep track of so many pairs? Now I have about 12 pairs lining up the bottom of my Empty4 and when I cycle through them I easily got lost... when I got to my 5th or 6th pair I forgot what I was thinking on my earlier pairs.

Can you share how you go through your pairs please? Do you go through them all on daily chart first and only go through lower time frame on pairs that look interesting?

Wow Dudest that comparison was priceless.... When you trade do you recognize everything from A to K? Or just a-b-c? How do you explain a-b-c?

I need to go through CJ's explanation of A-K one more time!

I actually don't 'track' all the 20-something pairs open on my platform.
I cycle through the pairs and pick any setup that simply obviously stands out.
If I land on a pair and don't 'see' anything, I simply move on to the next

My charts by default are set to H4.
If, for example, I see a setup ( like level counts, or BARF ), I can switch TFs to get a better look, then leave the pair on the TF that makes the most sense to me at that time. Fluid-like, nothing rigid.

I personally find it easier to go through my charts in descending order.
That works out that XAUUSD is the first chart I see, and AUDCAD is the last that I see
For some reason, I cycle through them faster that way, donno why

The following are what did it for me:

1. CJ's charts (& comments) on the 'Same Same But Different' topic (from the BARF pdf)

2. CJ's confirmation that the patterns on the charts from the BARF pdf are the same

3. CJ's clarification that it's not about pattern matching, it's about pattern recognition

4. Finally, Sean posting that USDCAD chart --> and the pattern just leapt out!

All this is documented 5 & 6 pages ago; hadn't understood it before

The a-b-c is how I remember and notice it quickly (from the BARF PDF charts).

It's CJ who told me to compare the USDCAD charts I'd posted showing the stop-hunts with his first chart, and then it became apparent that the pattern is the same

A to K is more easily visible on a shorter time-frame where the a-b-c is 'stretched' out.
Now I know that when I spot the a-b-c, say, on H1, I can go down lower to, say, M15 to see more detail.

When I started reading the thread ( the first, second, third times... ) that pattern really tripped me up, didn't understand it was (1) a stop-hunt pattern, and (2) was just one of many price patterns. I kept trying to look for it in charts and despaired when I couldn't see it.

Thankfully, the last time I started reading the thread, I
a) filtered out only CJ's posts, and only those with attachments

b) the above search orders the posts with the latest one being first (descending order).
So I started reading from CJ's last posts going backward, while making notes
Became quickly apparent that there was a lot more to this than I thought; within a few pages, alot was starting to become plain, and made sense.

Thanks for posting that USDCAD chart Sean, was an important final link for me w.r.t that pattern

XTI/USD. The US seems serious to push oil down to 40.

I think trapping bulls alone wouldn't be enough and with the current situation the fox will need to push this pair higher, breaking the high of first pin at least, else no bulls would want to long oil at the moment. Maybe bounce it up and down a bit and push it even higher to confuse the market and catch even more bulls for the slaughter.

USD/RUB is a fun one... US played it dirty and push RUB down 50% in a day. Putin countered with an interest rate increase to 17%... 2 foxes are fighting each other to the death here. Maybe we can make money with all the tracks they left, maybe we'll get killed if we get too close... we'll see lol.
