Should we avoid refreshing the charts? As you stated, turning Empty4 off and on or changing TFs will change the signals.

Do you try to keep the charts unchanged to preserve signals?

If I refresh the charts and signals appear which would not have if I had not touched the chart, do those signals carry less weight?

Thank you
Now that I have my new computer I run it 24.7 and seldom change charts.

Bob said he stops at the xx.000 lines but I noticed in his example in the manual he went through the first xx.00 line into the next 100 pip section. What warrents doing that? If we start at xx.600 do we carry through to the next 100 pip section and not stop at the immediate xx.00 line but rather the following one?

Here is an example if I am confusing....or maybe I am just confused...ha ha. :uff:

We open at 1.600...set a tp at 1.900.
We also set a buy at 1.800 and is our tp set to 2.00 because that is the immediate xx.00 or do we set it at 2.100 to make it a tp of 30? (I guess that is yet another question)
And here is where the original question comes in....do we stop here at 2.00 with the two trades or do we set another buy at 2.00 and a tp at 2.300 following all theway to three?

And I guess while I am at it where do you set a stop on a rad arrow and do we use stops ever with the 20 pip stackig method?

I am guessing by now you probably want me to "stop" with the questions....

Thanks for helping

Chris
. Every run is different so I stack until I see a change. It can be a wavy, small arrow, wavy line, or middle of a session.

I like the idea that Bob put forward of how he stacks trades every 20 pips and I would like to test that using the H4 charts in a demo environment.

I have two questions that I have been struggling to find an answer to in the HGI thread and this one so I thought I would ask them here.

1. Using Bob's method of stacking, what would be the suggested Initial stop that I should try for each trade?
2. Could someone suggest the best pairs to trade this method with?

Thanks for your help,

John
If you use stops placement doesn't change, use top or bottom of arrows or wavy lines.

Best pairs are the ones moving strongest at the time. You only stack off of big arrows.

Kindly give me the directions on how to set up the HGI on my Empty4 platform or at least give me a url/ thread that explains this. I have read the pdf time and again and I cannot seem to find it. Thanks to Bob, Milanese, Elixe, Baluda et. al
1. Open the MQL folder by using file in upper left corner of Empty4.
2. Open data folder
3. Open MQL4 folder put HGI and other indicators there, then open script folder and put scripts there.
4. Go back to data folder and put templates there
5. Close and reopen Empty4
6. Open a template onto chart, delete old version of HGI and then add newest version of HGI.
7. Change any colors of your chart and save template.
8. Should be ready to go.

What will happen if i don't keep my Empty4 running 24/7?

How will it affect HGI signals?

Will HGI stop giving signals after 15th Jan 2015?

Thanks

Kundan
