Thank you Spider for your great work on ALR 2. :hi:

I have suggestion for more improvement.
Most trader especially scalpers are using small TP and larger SL to accumulate max pips, but if the SL hits, most of the time it erases all previous profit, but with proper ALR that can be managed.
With existing ALR 2 it’s not possible since it keeps same small TP and large SL in second turn with big increase in Lot size to overcome the first loss, if it goes in loss direction the loss will be huge and that is very risky.
If possible to modify the EA so the TP in initial position will not be change and the second turn will use TP and SL specified at the setting.
Also if you can add the option to use the hedge that will be great too.

I believe this is the same scenario I asked about and explains why I am losing so much profit on my trades in DMO. This did not result in my backtests for some reason, but I am losing big time profits. Thanks Khaled77 for pointing this out, and I agree that it is something to look into. I am trying to scalp on 5 minute charts with a strategy and this is eating me alive.

I'm thinking of testing this EA. Is anybody else still testing it or using it? I can see that the last post on this thread was October.

Hi Shona,

I just tried to simulate the EA with default parameters on USDJPY H4, H1 and D1 and did not get any trade opended. What are your results looking like?

Hello Ahmet,

Tried it on 2 trades and the stop orders have placed successfully but that's all that's happened so far.

I thought I put my take profit at 50 pips though but it was much more after I applied the EA. Not sure if I made a mistake or if the EA adjusted my original trade. Quite possibly I did something wrong.

One thing I liked about the previous ALR I was testing (wealthmaster's) was it wrote all the future trades on the chart. I used to take a photo on my phone and then if the EA stopped working I could finish it off manually. This EA doesn't do that. I'll have to make myself an excel calculator or something if I decide to use this EA on a real account. I don't trust Empty4 completely and want a back up plan.

Thats just a minor thing. So far everything else seems fine.
