I think it will work on the 1H because the 60MA on the 1H is the 15MA on the 4H and that is tradeable. The problem that exists as you go to lower TF is the Slope indi. My experience with the slope indi whether used in the CSS or slope strength is it is more valuable or more accurate the higher the TF. That is why I use the Daily for my CSS reads. The lower the time frame the more up and down volatility you have with price action and the harder it is for the slope to gauge itself.

My thoughts would be if the HGI doesnt work on the 1H I probably could tweak the numbers so it would work. However, I would think it would a better option to me is to take the 4H reads and then go trade on a lower TF. If the wavy lines are showing trend down then go trade sells. If it shows trend up then go trade buys on a lower TF. Take the 60/240 or 10.7 indi and use it on the lower TF using 4H HGI reads probably would solve most of the problems. That would be much better than trying to force the HGI to work on a lower TF.
Thanks Bob, I'll continue to watch and try and trade the D1 come NY and see how I get on. Using both PA and MA's along with wavy lines and Arrows it should all come together. Patience will be the main thing here though as trade entries will be very limited compared to H4.

It is very much a buy and hold strategy. You are going for hundreds of pips. The thing I hated about trading the daily/weekly charts was 100 up 50 down, 75 up 70 down, 50 up 60 down, 150 up 60 down, and so forth. Couldnt stand watching profit disappear believing it was going higher. Good luck. :arrrg:

LOL! I understand what you mean Bob. But that happens on all timeframes, just a slow process on the larger and appears far more significant. The problem is in Aussie I find it hard to catch H4 signals that often come over night or close over night. Also I really can't be adequately checking my computer every 4 hours. If I can catch the daily runs and hold that would be worth heaps... if.... :? I'm gonna try hard though!! :)

I noticed with 15.06 when you change from TF to TF the arrows and stuff from other TF are not disappearing.

Bob, that is not happening in my setup when I change TF.

The same for me. Sometimes it happened also. If you put them in renko chart, a lot of them will appear after a while until another template is launched to override it.

Hi Bob, I had the Xmas tree effect randomly on previous HGI versions too. I thought it was Tommaso adding a special effect for the festivities

The problem with trading HGI with lower TF is it wasnt designed for lower TF. In other words you are taking a formula which was designed on a 4H chart and then trying those same numbers on a 1M chart. For example the 60MA on the 1M is the same as the 1MA on the 1H chart. That is not tradeable on a 1H. OR its the 4MA on the 15M chart. Here is a pic of the of a 15M chart using the 60 MA off of the 1M or 4MA on a 15M chart.

Then you are using a 1M slope indicator value. It simply is not designed to work that way. I have had so many successful trades off of the 4H arrows I dont know what else to say. The 4H candle lasts for 4H and so the indicators get a chance to work with each other in a coordinated system. I simply cannot see how it would work the same on a 1M chart. I simply am not going to recommend any changes based on the findings of a 1M chart.

Attached is the 15M chart using the 4MA.
Nanningbob,

I guessed as much with the Higher Time frames so I Did a Bit of Trying to Trade the Higher Time frames from Yesterday and these are the Results I got so far, All I am Waiting for is the Wavy Lines to Appear and I will Exit my Positions...
