Hi Tommaso,

I haven't changed any settings at all, I wanted to get everything up and running first before 'tinkering' I think.
The only thing I can think of is the size of my monitor (32") I wouldn't have thought it was because of multiple screens, as I am sure others are on multi screen set-ups.
What do you think?

Gandalf
Do you use standart windows character size?
Probably, I'm not too sure,
edit [yes, font size was set to 150%, when reset to default and re-logged in, now appears correctly]
how can I check/change so that it will not conflict with Empty4?
Or is there an alternative so that I do not have to re-configure character size? I currently use the same computer for my CAD drawings (hence the screen size), but do not really want to keep changing the windows character sizes every time.
It's not too much of a problem though, as I can still make out the figures displayed anyway, albeit a bit messy, but I'm sure I can cope!

Regards

BTW the one click order box in the top left corner also gets affected by font size, but this doesn't happen on other indi's. I use.
Is this to do with where the indicator is pulling its character base from, because it is using wingdings from the OS character map, these settings will affect the indicator. Therefore there really isn't an alternative?

Thanks for the help.

Nice one Tommaso! I'll have a play around with it soon (watching football-soccer)
Will let you know how I get on, and report back any settings I may find.

Cheers

Update; It's much better, however the Market Price still overlaps the rest, see below.

Hmmm, looks like it needs separate x/y co-ords for headings, data, & current price... I can't find my way around in there to do it, though :(

this is jet coded just playing around with the inputs up_downShift = 0
sideAdjustment = 0 this should nromally resolve the problem.. the attached one should normally work OOTB for you Gandalf6 you have too a new input characterSizeMagnified

Hey Gang,

My turn to ask the ultra-newbie question...

Would I be right in considering the buffer 6 wavy lines as breakout boxes / consolidation zones? Something like this...

WaveRangeHigh: Price is losing upward momentum, and will soon enter a consolidation zone - No Trading.
WaveRangeLow: Price is losing downward momentum, and will soon enter a consolidation zone - No Trading.
(In TMASlope terms, price is playing between -4 & 4).

If so, wouldn't it be more appropriate to call buffer 7 wavy lines "BreakOut Lines", like this...

Wavy above price = WaveBreakOutDown: Price is gaining downward momentum...
(In TMASlope terms, price has broken below -4, but not reached -8 yet)
Wavy below price = WaveBreakOutUp: Price is gaining upward momentum...
(Above 4, but not reached 8 yet).
Both are worth a trade, but don't hold out for a big runner.

Then there's the nice, big, juicy Trend Arrows... Their TMASlope has gone beyond the -8/+8 boundary, and are still going strong. Bet your house at it (but only one brick at a time). ;)

Just asking 'cos I've thrown all my insane trade management ideas into a shell, and am currently working on the entry logic now ;)

Have fun!

That sounds like a pretty good take on things there Radar. I've noticed, at least on back testing (yeah, I know  ), that even range arrows have greater movements when coupled with trend waves. I haven't had a lot of screen time lately so haven't really checked it out in real time. It may be worth considering though.
Also someone mentioned lookbacks on range to trend waves and someone else mentioned lookbacks from arrows to trend waves which may also be worth looking at.

Cheers BobbyT

Thanks for the feedback :)

I'm tinkering with an EA now, with all my crazy trade & money management ideas, and am using a lookback, starting from 10 bars back, and working forward, so that the more recent signals cancel the older ones. I've only just finished the entry logic, and am testing it, but it isn't looking too good on the lower timeframes (I know, HGI is H4 & up, but I like the idea of getting in earlier... Need a good LTF system).

I might just use the range waves as a signal to move SL to BEP, and see how that goes.

Have fun!

Does HGI indicator work on Tablet?

To keep it open and active 24/7 thinking about tablet as a solution.

Something very convenient to carry and check.

As per my knowledge HGI is not for mobile platform.

Thinking about buying good tablet to track Empty4 with HGI.

Please enlighten me.

Merry Christmas :hi:
Many Thanks
