The symbol click is used to select (highlight) the symbol. Clicking again un-selects the symbol again.

So, I have installed the 'Chart Open' functionality underneath the signal arrows. Eg. if you click on the

UP arrow of NZDCHF on H4, it will open a NZDCHF chart on H4. It will use the default.tpl template for that (so, make sure that the default.tpl template contains the indicators and chart configuration you are interested in). If there was already a chart open for NZDCHF on H4, it will activate it (i.e bring the focus to this window). It will select the first chart for NZDCHF on H4 -- if you had 5 NZDCHF/H4 charts open, it wouldn't know which one you wanted to see, so it picks the first one.

Updates 21 and 21L are in post 1.

Dude this is a great idea! this thingy just keeps getting better. Ive gotta be honest and say im pretty stoked that my MTF idea has now been adopted as the standard

What about we have a filter for the maximum spread for a symbol?

I see this being most useful when IncludeSymbols is left blank and all symbols from the broker are checked.

As an example, the GBPNOK currently has a spread of 251.5. Not many people would be interested in looking at that so we could simply ignore it.

Hi John,

Currently, HGIMatrixMTF sets up the list of symbols in the initialization phase. We could add a spread filter in there, but once a symbol has passed this test, it will be listed, even if later on the spread for that symbol exceeds the specified maximum.

At the same time, a little bit of common sense is required to run this indicator and to trade forex in general. That would include some idea of which pairs to trade and which not.

This is simply unbelievable, Rene. I had no idea something like this could be coded. The HGI Matrix has now become a standalone trading marvel. You don´t even need charts open... To confirm a trade signal, just click on the signal and here comes the chart... Unreal...

If this can be improved with chart open with the template (external variable), that will be even more trading marvel. Just a little suggestion, just drop the idea it if it is too difficult to program it.
