May I ask how you guys determine the SL when placing a trade based on trend arrow or wavy lines? I am thinking of placing an arbitrary 50 pips SL but not sure whether the typical DD can take that out. Any advice?

Maybe that's because Bob added them manually to show where they would've appeared on the other TF.Amit » Sun Jan 04, 2015 6:41 am wrote:This is my h1 chart for USDJPY with v 16.01. No blue or pink boxes showing up , hurst filter set to false.
Kind as a visual aid.

OK first demo trade with HGI, range buy + wavy lines. Initial stop recommendation would be top, middle or bottom line? Thanks!

Is the main idea with a rad to take a sell from the purple line I have indicated on my chart? Does the position of the rad arrow have that sort of significance?
Thanks

The HGI ver 16.0 on UJ on H4 has wavey lines at todays high which is obvious. BUT , on h1 thhis does not show up... SO am a bit confused now since NB had said the h4 signal would show up on the h1 chart also with ver 16.0
Please clarify.

spoliler alert: noob question
Could anyone please tell me if it is wise to be selling for example on chfjpy and buying usdjpy at the same time? indi tells me this is the way to go and i've opened both already but not sure if it's a good idea to continue.
if i'm correct then to be profitable in both positions yen would have to go up more than swiss but dollar would have to go up more than yen goes up... right?

The RAD lines shows where a breakout point could occur if price continues in the trend direction. If you place a pending trade just outside the arrow and price doesnt break out you have a good chance it will not get filled. I like using xxx.020, xxx.040, xxx.060, xxx.080 lines.parkhead » Sun Jan 04, 2015 10:22 pm wrote:Is the main idea with a rad to take a sell from the purple line I have indicated on my chart? Short term you can try it but I dont buy the JPY while the long term fundamentals are so strong and govt. enforced. I only do sells. I play the re-tracements back into the long term trend. However, if you are a short term trader you can get trades in different directions. I trade different directions often with the GBP because they usually are going in different directions.
