Thanks Al,

" red range arrow or bear wavy" you refer to which makes you close the trade--is that on the 4hr or do you wait for the daily to change as well.

For eg...Up (Trend) Thick green arrow on EURUSD 4h chart--(If daily is the same then you're buying....obviously).

Do you exit the trade when " red range arrow or bear wavy" show on 4hr chart or do you wait till it shows on Daily chart as well?

Maybe worth thinking about this logically?

If he waited for the daily chart for confirmation then the H4 chart is pretty redundant and might as well just trade the D1. Also if taking entries on H4 and exits on D1.....mmmm - I don't think that would work very well.

Anyone agree it would be nice to see Hurst cross over line on matrix when it crosses and has not yet reached target? :good:

thanks for your insight al, i made a list of the pairs you trade a while back, what if matrix gives you signals that are not in your list, do you ignore the signal

No. D1 moves can last a long time with countertend consolidation periods showing in H4. You can trade in and out in H4 as long as it is in the direction of the D1 trend. That is what I meant.

I won´t get the signals since I only show those pairs on the matrix.

That's pretty much what I was saying Al - if you waited for an D1 confirmation for exit it would be a frustrating wait

Cheers,
Dave.

No. Entries and exits on H4. I use D1 only for trend direction.

Sorry - I am just not being clear. I completely understand what you are saying and I was trying to say the same thing. The original question asked if you used D1 for exits and I basically said NO you can't because it wouldn't work. H4 for entry in agreement with D1 trend, H4 wavy or range against the signal = exit.

Apologies I didn't mean to cause any confusion.
