I have this behavior also. I am running latest version (post 1?). I have duplicate trades at the same price and also duplicate pending orders.

Well, Please make sure you are running the latest version as this has been fixed.
As a rule, post 1 holds the most recent version..

There is a bug in the CheckTradingTimes() in the shells...
Though it will only surface when using #propertystrict, since accessing an out of bounds array causes the EA to exit.

I am also working on HGB version 3, which is exciting
Many things changed under the hood, and new functions going to be added.
And mql strict.
Hope to present it to you soon..

Also had some minor fixes for 2h, but didnt bother to look at the shell fix yet.
Other fixes were small, not exciting enough to publish an update.

I also had duplicate trades both on 2g and 2h RAD trades , to overcome this I used the setting in the EA :
Safety Feature / Min minutes between trades = 240

Worked for me .

Regarding the duplicate orders issue. I am running 2 instances of HGI (v 2h).

One (A) is just wave, rad, trend following with multiple pendings disabled.
The other (B) is almost OOTB with multiple pendings enabled.

The problem of same orders being send at the same time (identical orders) only occurs in (A). By problem I mean 3-10 orders taken at the same time at exactly the same price level.

Well, couple of pages back, there was a idea to open a HGB forward test topic..
Seems a interesting idea.

As I have observed and said in earlier posts, the EA will fire the same pending every 10 minutes if the signal is still valid. As these pending trades are set at the same "00" lines, when they are executed, they appeared to be duplicate trades.

My temporary fix with setting is to set the MaxOverallTrade the same as the MaxMultiTrade for Trend, Rad Wave and WaveTrend, in my case it is 5. Then the EA will fire 6 pendings if there is a signal, eg, if it is a Rad signal, it will fire a Rad pending and 5 Rad Multiple pendings.

This works for me to fix the "duplicate" trades issue.

And afterwards there has been posted a new fixed version.
From my own tests, it seems to be fixed.
From a coding view it should be fixed..
And I receive no other message that it is'nt...
So I assume it is fixed..
You can revert back to normal sets.

Strange thins really, from a coding point of view..

From a couple of messages i recieved, people are also reporting bugs, which are'nt.
So to everyone in general.. before wasting yours and my time make sure you understand how this thingy works.

Sorry, for the "mess" there are multiple 2h versions. Ones I distributed in PM's and a the most recent version which is in this topic .

Right now, I could post version 2i, which fixes the shell bug (Thanks Spider), and the minimum trades between pips.
From my experience, there is some more code in the shell which does'nt comply to the new mql code rules.
But 2i could potentially have the same multiple open bug..
Really, from coding point of view, should be fixed. the thing I've broken myself earlier.

Well, I am much more focused on the version 3.
I was previously talking about a new shell..
Then, I decided to drop the new shell, library based thingy.
I've found that it has discussed a couple of times in this forum, and for unclear reasons it hasn't been adopted.

So, what's next...
I will continue developing this thingy. (Yeah version 3)
Combine a little stuff of my ideas and what I already had, so it's in the style Steve and others around here use.
I've written some code for a advanced Rollover protection.
To be implemented in this EA, but in my opinion would be beneficial for many EA's.

Also made some improvements for the counting and management of orders.
Should also fix the double openings thingy.
And using strict build 600 code.
Will publish a new one when it's ready.

Just and observation, but trailing stop may not be working correctly...

I have trailing set to 60, however stops do not trail.... stops are being moved to BE +5 and the EA is showing "Breakeven is set to 60 pips: BreakEvenProfit = 5 Pips" and "Trailing stop is set to 60 pips"

I have only configure the EA to trail by 60...

Think its something to be developed looked into in version 3.
Which is a major rewrite..
Fixed many things to comply with mql strict rules..
That made me change some thingys in the Order management..

Anyone else, experiencing the same??

I had this situation occur on a couple pairs....see below

Multiple buy stops canceled, then orders closed within 20secs of opening....

I removed EA and reloaded template and reattached EA and it went away....

Just one more thing, i had a look around and it is not clear, do you need the indicator on every chart that the EA is running on....? Also, what is the impact if you have a second chart of the same pair with the indicator, no ea running....? so two pound charts, 4h chart with EA and indi and a second pound chart with just the indi....and you swapped timeframes on the chart with the indi only.....The reason i asked this, is i think the pairs that i had these multiple orders, i may have had a second chart open with the indi and changed times frames.......

no the EA needs no indicator on the chart, it must only be in the indicator folder..
