I got mine running since the beginning of october 24/7. I had no problems with the running server. There are times where I can run 2 terminals, with some lagging though. It´s slowing down, when you have got a lot of price action and a lot of open trades to manage, and even some terminal shut downs are needed.
But it´s okay for testing purposes I guess. But my results seemed always a bit different from others, most of the time not as good, although my demos are on global prime and I used the same settings. It might be a lagging issue. So I am glad, that we can now compare results and retune our settings.

Edit: Reducin the history to 1000 bars is a reall good advice. Almost no lagging anymore. :arrrg: Could have thought about it by myself

good to know! you probably could go lower too, depending on how far back your EA looks.

A dedicated trade manager (evolved MPTM) sits on the VPS, with the receiver EA, managing the trades on the slave Empty4 Terminal!

Number of bars and indicators on the VPS terminal can thus be reduced to a minimum...

Interesting idea. Would somewhat defeat the purpose of the VPS though, which is to have lower latency to the broker and to have a Empty4 running 24/7 instead of running it on your own computer.

here's an interesting observation. i left the vps idling over the weekend (Empty4 closed). it seems the CPU credits have built up, maxing out at around 144. sweet!! so hopefully we will be able to crank Empty4 without worrying about cpu consumption, theres plenty of room for the cpu to spike!

just wishing i went long last week...

Boom, my account vaporized in swiss cheesse. The free version of AWS can´t deal with a lot of PA, like this major news event. My terminal froze, it did not react on any click, was still opening and deleting orders. So my account blew up.

damn, thats not good. mine seems to be running ok. what do you mean 'a lot of PA'?

when did you first start HGB on the instance?

can you please take a snapshot of the cloudwatch metrics so we can see whats happening.

It´s looking weird and different from yours. I might just set up a new instance, or do a restart.
