Newbie question- here in this thread because I'm using HGB:
When I follow the recommendation to take made pips off the table when they've accumulated so the market doesn't take them back, which is the recommended course of action- 1) close all open and pending trades and let HGB start over, 2) close all open trades and leave HGB's pending trades to play out, or 3) close only those open trades with x amount of profit, leaving all other open and pending trades to play out??
Thanks,
Leslie

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the development of this great tool.
I would like to know what setting should be used to open trade on the arrival of blue wavy signal (buffer 8). I tried to use WaveTradingAllowed=true, but it seems to open trade on yellow wavy (buffer 7) as well.
Cheers,
Jauhar

Can you pls tell me where can I read about it? I mean about to take made pips off the table when they've accumulated so the market doesn't take them back, which you wrote is the recommended course of action?Leslie » Wed Jan 14, 2015 3:54 am wrote:Newbie question- here in this thread because I'm using HGB:

Probably near the beginning of the 228 pages in the HGI thread and or the HGI UG- where Nanning Bob describes how he trades by taking his profits mid session before HGI gives back pips. It has also been discussed with respect to the HGB EA in that thread. Other than doing the searching for you, this is the best I can do...MonteCristo » Wed Jan 14, 2015 12:43 am wrote:Can you pls tell me where can I read about it? Whenever I add a TL or other object to a HGI template - if I change TF or close then open the chart the object disappears - is there a setting that will keep the object?
