It seems that we need help here .... I dont know how to code that correctly .... I try make it manually at the moment, but yes .... that have very nice potential.

STEVE ... it seems that I need here some help .... I use this EA a little different way as it was greeted ... I use settings: step 10; TP 20; SL 10 and BreakEvenProfit 10. But the problem is that EA NASY took out sometimes orders..... Why he do so? .... I imagine that there is some errors between my settings and system.

Yes ... that is true that after systems have took out orders I have lost nothing and there is nice balance again. So basically that "failure" is not bad but it dont let me win either. I have "lost" money with that "robot taking out orders".

I just be interested why it took out orders. At the moment my settings running well ... I started Monday with 160 and at the moment I have 225 .... but yes .... that IF is there .... it should be 260 already.

It is perfect if there can be use those settings what I use at the moment and EQUITY TP is strongly needed..... and I may give my head that this baby running nicely

So ... here is my first full week test ... I started with 164 and my equity is at the moment 244 ... those red circles are those "errors" about I talked my previous messages and that yellow circle is my only "manual system restart". So to summ up .... market dont moved much during this week and I using risky settings ... will see what happened during next week.

here is my second week results ... in this week my lot were 0.05 (previous week it was 0.08) .... But here is one IF .... result is not bad ... but there is no point play with that after Friday US opening. At the moment I have there -40 dollars inside, but IF I close those orders then I am in that level where I was end of previous week .... so I have nothing lost during this week .... but I dont take them out at the moment .... I need eurus DOWN .... I have 2 sell order more inside ... so ... basically I dont worry at the moment. Here is graph:

In first post Steve wondering that is that EA legs or not .... yes .... difficult questions but I think that it has at least one leg :D .... why one? I think that this EA(maybe settings what I use at the moment) is only one part of full system. So ... after some times followed that EA I know his weaknesses ... yes there has such things :) .... the worst nightmare for me is moving pattern 3up-1down-3up-1down-3up-1down and so on ... this movent dont keep balance. During three week it has happening two times when there were some problems, but their are solved at the moment ... and result is good, really good. But yes ... here is that IF. As you see results are not bad at all: http://imageshack.us/f/269/zyzthirdweek.gif/ whole system is 90 percent automated. Only two or three times I have closed all orders manually. Today I thought very very long time how to solve that little risk problem here and I think that I found almost another leg .... at least I think so .... NASY works perfectly when market moves up and down .... that is the point of that EA .... but sometimes balance lost when market make those bad pattern (3-1-3-1-3). So .... basically I need system what keep that balance ... I need similar system as GERTJE, because 3up-1down-3up and so on is UP trend. Even if NASY dont keep that ballance GERTJE should do that... next two weeks I try find out how GERTJE actually works .... and then I try but them work together .... will see what happened. Nice weekend to everyone

I have looked closely at Gertje - sadly (but not surprisingly) it is not viable. If Gertje ranges between the default 10 levels - by this I mean touching level 10+ and level 10- before reaching TP, then your drawdown is already 2,000 pips plus 22 x spread. What do you think are your chances of recovering this?

You might think that a +/-10 range is unlikely but consider this (you can do the maths yourself) - if price touches L3+ then goes to L3- without hitting TP and then returns to L3+, the resulting drawdown requires price to reach at least L10+ to break even. With a 20 pip step size this scenario is within the average daily range of many pairs. So, sooner or later, it will happen. It may not kill your account if your position sizing is conservative enough, but it will wipe out any accumulated profit.

I found what SWG describes to have been true last week.

So, next part of the plan is to use Bob's 10.2 to trigger placing the initial trades on a trending pair with a strong movement in the direction of the trend, crossing the weekly pivot.

We shall see.

:D
Read the effing manual, ok?

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Thanks to comment in this thread ... I already thought that I am alone here :D .... yes ... I have tested Gertje a little bit and I know that weaknesses what G have. Probably I dont use Gertje because I found one of my old EA in my computer what should do "balance keeping". I think that most dont understand NASY EA point ..... NASY earns when market moves up AND 20 - 40 percent down from that moving ... it depands what kind settings you use. And from this moment I probably thinking a little bit different way as most of people .... If most people wants that EA earns money then I dont want that ..... I need only EA what "keeps balance", nothing more .... he may even lost finally a little. The whole system must earn.

I made some calcs I dont show them here but the point were that if market goes up 100 pips then NASY in worst condition MAY be -100 USD (it depands about lots and steps and so on, this is just example), but if market goes south again 100 pips then NASY have earnd +120 USD. So .. I need that something covering my possible loss in that TOP and when price start heding south then balancing system dont loosing.... I thought firstly, that G is able to do that ... but now I dont think so .... maybe it explained a little may way of thinking .... one system is main system what earns and another just balanced first NASY is perfekt for "V" shape moving .... now I try find what is good for "I" shape moving. "V" + "I" may be something good .... but they should be synchronized well ... this may be my challenge during two weeks to find "I" and but them sync.
