feeling that i have been somewhat stupid about getting myself in this situation .....but will beat myself up after dealing with these trades

BTW Does somebody have got chf pairs "freezed". On one of my brokers I can't close my positions and quotes for all chf pairs are freezed. I have to move to globalprime for sure but I have to close my open positions first.

I was just on chat hammering my broker about 100 spread blowout on gbp/chf and he said that some brokers had suspended trading on chf crosses....get in contact with ya broker...

@Gertje: they DEFINITELY knew it was coming, they and their buddies. These are not random markets, they are rigged, and 0wn3d from the get-go. They definitely made a killing

NY usually has a tendency to reverse London [ London sells it one way, and NY sells it the other; the Foxes changing seats, as @CaptainJack would say ]. But given the impact of this, I think they might have no choice but to continue what has began in European session

I'm in one of those trades also......my opinion is that it wont stay up there, and i would expect some pull back....however, I'm still scratching my head as to how it got up there in the first place, so maybe my opinion is down the toilet along with my trade management.....I'm looking for a pull back, then I'll keep tightening stop loss behind it.....the only thing is that given the nature of this news, it might see a fundamental shift in sentiment for the chf.....so, it may keep going.....
given you have three position, the risk maybe too high for you to sit on them....

On GP usdchf is still frozen. Eurchf was frozen for quite a while buy is trading again. At this stage I can handle the DD but I feel for those that are close to a margin call.
Note that this is a black swan event and no SL or any other magic would have protected you if you are on the wrong side. Liquidity dried up, markets were frozen and there was a massive gap. Having no SL and enough available margin was probably a blessing in discuise.

My account closed 40% negative compared to this morning starting balance due to a huge spike.
Wonder when they'll start asking for a deposit......

yes, I'm about to go "full retard" on my broker for giving me a stop-out price on 7 trades that was over 600pips each away from my stoppy.....
As I've been working on alorente's suggested pairs (which exclude CHF), I didn't see that 'til reading about it here. Now, eyeballing the charts, I'm kind of flabbergasted. My jaw dropped before EURCHF, SNB promised it would never go below 1.2, and it's been true for years. In a matter of minutes it's down to 1. The implications are massive.
