@nanningbob

Would you advise us never to trade CHF pairs again or would you consider this occurence a one off? A lot of people seem to be wanting to stop trading it altogether.

Actually the opposite this makes the CHF tradable again. When bad news hits you know traders will run to the Swiss for safety. Wait for it to settle then look for your buys or just jump in. You can bet the farm if Greece departs the Euro.

Nanningbob, Ellixe, Milanese, Baluda and everybody else involved in this project many many thx for your big knowledge and hard work. I have to say that second time in my forex hitory (first one was with CJ BARF trading but my stupidity and jpy weakness kill my one big account) I'm making some money (I have lost a lot and now I have get around 10% of my loses back thanks to HGI).

Great work. Steve big thx for this great forum and amazing members.

Today's episode on CHF crosses reminded me of what Bob's says many times about position size, if I got hit today (thankfully my SL worked on CHFJPY) with the entire 2000 pips move I would still have my trousers on, maybe not my jacket, but at least wouldn't be naked :)

SNB has billions of dollars in foreign currencies and they just can't keep up. It had to be done before 22Jan anyway.
