Not sure what to say! Lucky I guess!

Because I don't trust demo account results; over the weekend I set up an H4 specific modified test version of PM on one of my live accounts to trade on all 4 markets - starting with Tokyo then London, NY &Sydney - every 24 hours. Because we (AUS) are 12 hours different to EUR/USA I am also running my Ducks MAs & MAx indis so I can hear if something happens from a couple of rooms away.

It went a bit berserk today when the CHF jumped it did. I had "trad jazz" music playing like crazy - which certainly grabbed my patients' attention.

By the time I got to check it out it was all over. The London pendings had been opened and by the time I got there most of the Trailing Stops had been tripped.

I took took a massive hit thanks to stacked HGI trades on GBPCHF, USDCHF and NZDCHF - floating 5% loss; closed 5% loss

I know - way too much exposure to the CHF - well I know that now ;-(

BUT live to trade another day...

I took my first trade and loss with the Pipcruiser, with my new account with Global Prime.

It opened at 9:43 a sell stop GBPNZD : "2015.01.15 09:43:35.532 '923417': order #2925602 sell stop 0.xx GBPNZD at 1.95549 activated at price 1.95574"

and at 09:44 It send a stop loss order of 100 pips according to the EA setting, and it got filled at -137.4 pips:
"2015.01.15 09:44:00.430 '923417': order #2925602 sell 0.xx GBPNZD at 1.95574 closed due stop-loss at price 1.96948 "
In my Global Prime statement is says: SL 1.96549

So I guess it was sending the SL after the price had passed my SL price and got filled about 37 pips later, although the Journal states(see above) "... closed due stop-loss at price 1.96948" ?? Or could it be that the SL calculation is off? Not sure now because of this Journal message..

Is it possible to send the SL together with the pending entry order? I know this is a very rare occasion what just happened, but maybe a good thing to look at.

This EA was chugging along just great making small $$'s with small lot sizes and then BAMMMM, EURCHF rakes it in! This time I was on the good side, with a 0.03 lot size, cleared 500 bucks after the carnage was over something like 1500 pips in a few minutes (yes, I closed it out). Is this why we use emergency stops? I've been on the other side as well. If you don't use stops at all, maybe this will push you to rethink that strategy.

Doesn't it make a pleasant change to be on the right side for once? How often does that happen? Once a decade?

I do not trade PP because he does not suit me, but I love reading when you guys post your successes.

Seems like my USD CHF trade i mentioned still has a chance... today i received this from my broker

This email is concerning the CHF position(s) on your trading account and the prices streamed across the CHF pairs that have affected you today.

Today at 11:30 platform time (GMT+2) the Swiss National Bank removed the floor at 1.20 on the EURCHF currency pair which caused extreme volatility in all CHF pairs and the market in general. Over this period we saw spreads widen significantly which in turn caused the activation of price filters to stop pricing. Once pricing stopped on our main Integral price feed our backup price feed from Currenex was allowed to price. It was at this time that some liquidity providers were able to stream erroneous prices to IC Markets and execute client trades at prices they shouldn’t have.

Today XxMarkets will be amending the prices on trades done across the CHF pairs with our liquidity providers. Once we have had these trades amended we will begin the process of adjusting clients accounts.

Up to you whether you take any notice of me keep banging on about Global Prime or whether you keep on hanging onto you love of this kind of criminal.

Ignoring GP and hanging onto this kind of crim merely marks you out as an idiot. Your choice fella.
