I am glad about that. I think Craig over at FXAW uses them - might be an alternative worth exploring for US citizens.

nope not anymore. they are discontinuing us clients and referring them over to tallinex, by the end of the month.

ah, the line numbers are different than in Metaeditor because im using notepad++ to compare. try line 1922, its still there in 2o just posted.

Not in mine it isn't. And mine is the version that is uploaded to post 1. No idea what you have got.

Ok guys, I am starting to find this constant questioning of my code a tad tedious. Yes, I made a few mistakes following Bob's steady drip drip of information into his HGI thread, but they were mostly copy/paste/forgot to edit bloops of the kind i always make and sort out eventually.

So far tonight, I have received a couple of ludicrous and highly annoying pm's suggesting stuff to be 'wrong' when it is clearly the pm sender who has not read the code correctly - despite the vast amount of comments I have included with it.

Then we have this post here, from a member who appears to have a different version to the one the rest of us have.

Now, I am not suggesting for an instant that the existing code is perfect. There may still be thingies that need a bit of sorting out. When they emerge on my account, I will sort them out. For sure there are thingies that those of you looking at the code have not even spotted yet - I have.

So guys, stop imagining you know more about this stuff than I do. You don't. Unless you are Baluda of course, in which case I bow instantly to your overwhelming knowledge and expertise.

boinvest, I thank you deeply for your contribution here. I will take matters forward from now on. Let me know when you have your own project up and running and I will include it in my wrup and make sure everyone knows about it.

V 20 is in post 1. I have a busy day tomorrow and so will do no more work on HGB until next week, so you can download without wondering how many more updates there will be.

I have sorted out the function that inspects a trade's tp and sl for accuracy - the original function was coded for a single-strategy trader, not a multi strategy one like HGB and was hopelessly inadequate. I do not guarantee the code is watertight, but I will play with it as soon as HGB fires up a few trades and sort out bugs from there.

I have also implemented Bob's double moving average filter. So far as I am aware, he is using it only for 'confirmation' - not sure of what. This is why I did not include it originally. It is a great trend filter, so having it as an options seems like a good idea given that an ea can only do what it is coded to do, and cannot 'interpret' the markets through 'feel' as Bob does. I have not updated the User Guide yet, and probably will not do so for a while because, frankly, I am sick of updating something that a remarkably few people appear to bother to read. Find out about it elsewhere if you are unfamiliar with it.

Thursday was a brilliant reminder for us old stagers and fabulous intro for the noobs into how a Black Swan event can come from nowhere and blow our accounts to buggery in seconds. I was one of the lucky ones but have no intention of pushing my luck. I am out of the markets until February - going to give them time to calm down.

The defaults in 2o represent how I shall trade HGB live when I do return. Study them, as they may not necessarily suit you.

Hi. Here is my weekly report of all trades this week. For the first time on this account I manually closed all open trades right before friday closure.

Global Prime demo. OOTB settings but also rangetrades enabled. 28 pairs. Trading 0.01 lots per trade on a $100.000 account.

Closed trades -6958 pips (-0.7%)

I will update to latest version before Sunday open.
