The formula used for the signals has not changed from version to version. Bells and whistles were added but formula is the same.

Just saying what I,m doing. I do not change or close down charts if at all possible.

Did you get EURJPY down arrow this morning?

Steve
Yes it is there, hmm... I wouldn't have taken it as it has fallen so far and I would normally be looking for larger pullback. too picky?!.. so now I've entered to test it out!!
Yes some of the arrows I have found I've refused and later they've disappeared!

It would be good to have a daily HGI thread where we could post possible signals and discuss as or if necessary.
I'd really value working along with others using D1 until I get proficient or confident with this. It does go against some prior learning and doubts arise...

This is my current demo account:
http://www.myfxbook.com/members/IBX_Tra ... mo/1132797

I trade a mix of H4 and M5, M5 when I have time at the computer, and H4 of the rest.

This indicator provides very good signals and has lifted my trading a few steps to the top.
Wowww, Very nice results! This is very motivating. Would you mind explain a little bit how you use HGI?
Dankeschön

When they do they are good. I have bagged good pips this months taking only trend arrows & waves. No adjusting of charts.
By the way Steve, are you using waves just for exit or for entry also? If you are using for entry are you waiting for the blue wave?

Using for both. Wait for blue wave before entering

Thanks for your answers Steve.
Also, do you place stops?
And.. so far have you found it retraces very much after entry?
I know we're advised to take the signal when it appears, well trading the daily that's not always possible and it has to be decided at close whether to still take it or not. Which have you mainly done?

I notice more JPY pairs have given a short trend arrow now so I've since taken U/J as it looks the most promising.

No stops. Exit on opposite signal or in some cases gut feeling. Generally take trades when I am aware of them. This is mainly on day opening but canbe later in the day. If they have moved to much don't chase the trade. Try & keep it simple.

Taken EJ,GJ,UJ & NU today. Currently up approx 130pips

Thanks for sharing. Well NU I felt had done a large move yesterday and seems range bound.. I will watch this one with interest. Also GJ as it would look like it should rise to 180.80 area first. I might be sorry but will learn from it whatever happens!!
I really liked the look of PA on NJ but no signal or waves!!

Thanks for the heads up on GJ and EJ, Steve.

EURAUD also trend sell arrow today on D1.

You can use HGB to enter off D1 trend arrows. Set Highest time frame=1440, Highest TFCandlesLookBack=1. Use H1 or M30 or M15 as trading time frames.
