In my version of the indicator, the wavies are both the same colour...which buffer do I change to blue to signal an entry and which one do I leave as yellow to signal an exit?

Thanks

Cherry,

If you question every signal, there's no point in using HGI.
Just go with the flow, and of course take notice of S/R areas etc.

I started using HGI on the D1 this week, and set for myself the rules that I already wrote here somewhere. Basically I take all blue waves, trend- and rad-signals [pending] and close at the yellow wave.

I noticed that at the new candle, sometimes a trend-arrow forms on yesterday's candle. If this happens, I still take the trade [roll-over is @ 23h00 for me]. The EURJPY down trend-arrow last night came at 24h00 my time, I took it this morning after breakfast.

.
Thanks for your input Gertje, point taken. For the NU it has hit a S/R area where price has turned 3 or 4 times in the last couple of months. That's why I left it.
I also thought I had read of others only taking the 'best' looking entries. Anyway I'll set my mind to being less analyzing and more trusting!

Have been glad of all input regarding HGI daily trades.
Thanks to all.

I Try the indicator from for about a month. This has been my first demo account, which is closed by CHF drama and the broker will soon no longer exist.

This is my current demo account:

I trade a mix of H4 and M5, M5 when I have time at the computer, and H4 of the rest.

This indicator provides very good signals and has lifted my trading a few steps to the top.

Thank you so much for that!!

PS.: Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany.
Fantastic results! Thanks for sharing! :good:
Please tell me which version you are using and does it give you the arrows at the correct time without reinitialising.. especially on the 5m charts?!
Do you have separate charts open for H4 and 5m or do you change from one to the other?
Thanks in advance. :)
I really don't know how can you say that he has got fantastic results. With all respect he don't know anything about risk - trying to open 10 lot trades on 10k account is asking for a disaster. He will kill account in a week or so.

Pure gambling.

I know that this is a unique event but got a really nice boost on my account because the CAD news pushed the price towards my HGI signals direction....almost 10% in less than a day...

The good thing is that HGI show right way before the news usually (probably around 60-70%) so you are on the right side of the market before the news. Of course sometimes HGI is wrong but with 60-70% accurancy you can make really nice money with right risk and reward setttings.

Very nice post. Thank you very much for the time to compress the knowledge? Do you plan to continue this booklet? How about HGB topic?

all the things you need to know are concentrated in the very first pages. I did the summary from page 1 to page 128 and copypaste all the important posts (important to me at least).

Anyway, if you are new at the forum, I don't recommend you to read any summary. If you do it your knowledge foundations will be weak and hollow. Just my opinion.

Regards!!

This is a fantastic strategy. The hard work that must have gone into this must have been dam painful but was worth it.
Has mentioned before newbies dropping on to this are very lucky indeed that they will not have to go through the pain barrier to become successful in this non forgiving game.

Keep up the good work guys your doing a great job here.

Nanningbob has always been a hero of mine way back on the other website and I have learnt so much from him and developed my own profitable strategies incorporating his ideas and teachings and so just wanted to break my silence and come here and pay my respects to a wonderful man. well done sir and everyone else who played their part
Best Regards John
