Thanks guys. I have my own strategy but use HGI for confirmation.For an exmple,I opened long GBPAUD this morning Aussie time, and than I looked at weekly HGI and what do you know!? Its a buy on weekly!!!

I also took that trade but bailed out when I saw the yellow wavy. Can't remember where the yellow wavy occurred exactly but the trade ended up about breakeven. That yellow wavy no longer appears on the chart ofcourse. Did the yellow wavy not appear on your chart or are yellow wavys not a part of your (exit) strategy, just wonderin.... There are a gazllion ways to trade but I'm ahaving a crack at trading pure HGI atm.

This red trend arrow was with Hurst by the way.

Nice idea I fixed your code that the lot size works correct..(NewMarketInfo Ab)
Too attached some varaint showing the HGI H4 actual symbol..(NewMarketInfo B, you have to enter the HGI version name in HGIndicatorName)

G'day dclayw.
I tend to trade daily tf more than 4H,but look for entry on 1&4H tf. Exits are based on Gann percentage expansions. I like to see HGI arrow as a conformation when I enter but it's not necessary. My exits are predetermined or closed at trailing stop. So, HGI is looked at for entry purposes only.
Were you talking about GBPAUD or EURUSD trade?

I was referring to the EURUSD trade.

OK. No, that trade was opened purely as a swing trade based on current trend direction and a bounce of the trend line. I entered last night before I went to bed. Didn't even check the HGI.

I am relatively new to HGI but not to trading. The indicator looks great and very many thanks to its creators. May I ask, is there any reason why this indicator cannot be used for Indices, commodities etc? I have more experience in these markets so prefer them to forex. I have read the whole thread and maybe I missed it but I do not see the answer to my question. Many thanks

it can be used for this, just make sure that you have more than 550 bars in history..
