So....anyone have any results to share yet? I set up a FXDD demo with 5k on Monday. I set the take profit to $1 lot size .01. Spaced the grid 10 pips plus spread for 20 pairs. Account is up $60. Floating drawdown is $110 on 9 pairs currently.

So, anyone here able to confirm that the indi I attached in post 1 is actually doing the job?

Unless I receive an affirmative reply to this post, the thread gets deleted so I do not have to bother about it further.

did setup a test a few days ago, results are positive. but further too early(i have to read more for understanding before i tweak input values etc..)

This EA has a lot of potential IMHO. The CZ indicator is doing it's job quite well. Trading 20 pairs, the only glitch I have seen was a failure to draw the sell grid on the eur/gbp which I entered manually after noticing and cashed out accordingly. Might just be due to fast pa or requotes. Current dd is just over 2% with 9 pairs trapped in a range. That was the whole point of the tight tp and tight grid to get as many trades going as possible...to see potential dd, and not too bad so far.

This thing trades up a storm, it is the most fun you can have with your pants on. So please don't abandon it. Thanks for all your hard work, it is appreciated.

I should have replied long ago... my bad.
Too many things going on at the same time...

I'll try to retrieve a version that does that.
However, the latest version I use doesn't downsize the boxes like FxH is asking for, so i dont know if i will find any!
Since version v1.12, the box stretches in duration until the breakout occurs, but i can't remember having coded it so it would fit to the initial price range if that was less than the configured box range.

Does it really matter after all ?
Either fixed or ATR-based settings will give you narrow enough boxes, just take the time to refine them, as FxH constently suggests.

Squalou, IMO indi is a great indicator and is okay as is and you did a great job with it.
I think the best fix you can do is to include the weekend gap into the box so if there is a formed CZ before Monday opening then if there is a gap you get a trade. Even you time filter that trade is wrong cause then it depend if the price will go back in the box or not.
Best would be to continue the cz (if there is one) and start with the Monday opening right in the middle of the box.

No need to worry about this. I am going to add two more inputs in time for market open on Sunday night: TradeSundayCandle(false) and MondayStartTradeHour. G++ is programmed to trade only if the previous candle closed inside the box, so these two inputs will take care of the gap.
