I've been looking at the chart in myfxbook. It looks as if there are 2 groups that take similar lines, and then there are the outsiders....It would be interesting to find out what the 2 groups have in common...

Group 1: 1001, 1013, 1014, 1019, 1028, 1029, 1056, 1058, 1059, 1061, 1062, 1063 and 1064

Group 2: 1016, 1030, 1031, 1032, 1066 and 1067

I am not sure if this could be a reason - but I have 128 & 129 that are doing well, but my 130 isn't - 130 is on my VPS and I set history to 300 - I think it needs to be 550. Should I re-set and start over?

As I wrote here before the HGI wont work correct with less than 550 bars in history...
so you will with 300 bars only create more or less randomised results ..

How do we check how many bars in history?

the HGI indicator will give you an alert and will try to download more bars in history, but if you have limited the history to 300 bars max, the HGI will be unable to download more history.. and not work correct.

Since this was a 1 week pre-trial. I assume we stop the test at market close today? Then reassess next week before starting new trial.....right???

Yep, that´s what I will do. Anyhow. I think it would be a good idea, if the amazon VPS run a second pre trial, with the same server time and definitely with enough history bars.

@Tommaso:
does it make a difference for HGI, wether there are 550 bars of history or 1000?

I'm the 1031 tester... I had those bad results due to the 300 bars in hystory problem. Maybe the others had the same problem

Yep, same here. I'm 1032. Think we might have found the link.

I did change the setting after Tommaso's post, but assume it needed the 550 when it first loaded the charts.
