Out of curiosity how long on average do your trades take? You said you are trading manually without SL so does that mean that you leave trades open at night?

Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for my bad english ...
- Take only trade with Big arrow and stop trade on inverse signals. Dont know average !!! Not interesting by average.
- Yes I leave trades open at night, it's daily time frame Sir !

Where did you enter the trade? Was it based on HGI (green arrow) or combination of different systems you use?

Just getting more info on this brilliant indicator...

Well done btw...

EDIT: I didn't see the entry/exit arrows at first. Now I see them. No need to answer my questions... :)

No stops. Exit on opposite signal or in some cases gut feeling. Generally take trades when I am aware of them. This is mainly on day opening but canbe later in the day. If they have moved to much don't chase the trade. Try & keep it simple.

Taken EJ,GJ,UJ & NU today. Currently up approx 130pips

Thanks again Steve for your help and all others posting D1 results.
Due to this and taking a few trades since then I'm happy with the results so far.
I did set a target for EJ before going to bed as unsure what the EUR would do with the news due and achieved target near low of the bar. It has since continued down. Did you or others hold onto it?

Demo acc and fairly small positions taking off partial profits:
Closed trades 21.1.15 - 24.1.15.JPG
Open trades 24.1.15.JPG
Appreciate all the kind and patient help given in here.

I did very well this week on live account but decided to close all trade due to Greek elections over the weekend. Normally I would hold trades.

wonderful system and thanks be to all contributors. i like the indicator you use to exit. is it possible to make it available. would like to try it. Gann percentage expansions

A few people asked about Gann expansions indicator. It's not an indicator guys, you can find it in your Empty4.
It's Fib expansions but I have changed the percentage values to Gan's values. Fibs are 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%,100% and 161.8%. Gann levels are 12.5%,25%,33.3%,37.5%,50%,66.6%,75%,100% and 150%. Both work fine but I learned my craft with Gann levels so I stick to what I know. You will find fib expansions in your "Insert" tab.
Another thing,to see where your trade opened and closed just open your "Account history" left click on the trade and drag it up onto the currency chart you took the trade on. It'll show up with those little arrows and a line in between.
Cheers.

Am I a wuss, or am I prudent, I cannot decide...? I am hoping to protect my equity balance better than in the past...have even de-leveraged to 100:1, may still be high, but I was on 400:1, so big step for me.

Where can I find the reporting tools that you chaps are using? I have a few, but they do not work as they should...

Have a good weekend.

It is never a "wuss" thing to protect your capital. It is not like this is the last signal ever. Missing a few hundred of pips is better than losing a few hundred pips.

Happy trading
